"This hotel is very nice. I stayed there in 2006. It was Half board. It was Fantastic. The food was Excellent at every meal. Plenty of choices.
Having just returned from there and it now being All Inclusive.
This all inclusive has down graded the hotel. The meals, and choices. They seem to be trying to please, but not getting there.
They are using cheaper versions where meals and drinks are. The free drink around the pool are tasteless. The Cola is flat.The free beer is also tasteless. The food for morning break is the food left over from the evening meal the night before. As is the dessert. Same goes for the lunch. Then the afternoon break is the lunches leftovers.
The rooms are all carpetted. They would be better all round if they were tiled.
My advice to the Oceanis is: Get rid of the ALL INCLUSIVE. And get your standards back to how they used to be by going back to HALF BOARD. Your standards WILL rise again. And I for one will come back, and bring my friends.
And finally, bit annoyed when we ask and pay for a room with a sea view. Take a copy of our booking forms, stating this. Then on arrival they don't give you the sea view. Then they ask you for more money to be moved. Paying extra for what you ordered in the begining. On showing them your booking form, it is exactly the same as yours. But the request of the sea view is'nt on their form. Funny eh.
Other than that we enjoyed our holiday."

"Very nice clean hotel with friendly staff, and fantastic pool. Although as with all Greek hotels it said it was 4 star and yes I expect by Greek standards it is, but only 3 star in other areas like Spain or Portugal. But we expected that after and so would still recommend. Rhodes is a very beautiful island with loads to do."


"The hotel was very clean, but I would reccommend a pool/sea view, eventhough it is a little bit more. We originally had a room at the back. There were trees, plants, and no view, but because we had no air con/ safety box we asked to be moved, and we then got a perfect room overlooking the pool and sea.
All inclusive good. Lots of choice of food at all meal times. Lunch a bit repetitive, but there is enough to try.
Drinks are on offer throughout the day, self service soft drinks, and measures in alcohol very large."

"Staff excellent / hotel very good but rooms in need of refurbishment - however this has already started on the fifth floor.
Two strange rules for all inclusive - no more than two drinks per person - we were in a party of 18 which meant 9 of us getting up and queing for drinks -( and there was always a queue!) - and srict 11pm halt to all inclusive - charged 2.2euro for cup of coffee at 23.03!"

"Really enjoyed the holiday, the hotel was excellent although the rooms were dated. Entertainment was also excellent and the beach over the road which was busy but you could use The Hilton Hotel they had an underpass to the beach."

"Due to flight changes 3 times we did not get into our room until 3.30am so lost first day of hotel facilities & bedroom, then again due to flight time changes, we didn`t fly out until 5.30am the day after we checked out, and although we only paid 54 euros for each whole day they charges us 70 euros extra to keep the room from 12mid day to 12 mid night"

"The all-inclusive drinks finished at 11pm - but last orders were at 10 50pm and if you were near the back of the queue when it came 10 50pm you'd had it!! However we got wise to that and always made sure we had at least 2 drinks on the table - and made sure we went up to the bar when the queue was short. The food was adequate - there was always something we liked but there wasn't as big a selection as other hotels we have stayed at. We are also very security conscious on holiday and felt that the locks on the door into the room were pretty flimsy - plus there was no lock at all on the balcony door, only a chain, which the cleaner left off every day.
My top tip is to make sure you take plenty of insect repellant as everyone was bitten. I lost track of mine when I got to 20!!"

"The hotel proved to be very good after initial disappointment-we were allocated the worst rooms in the hotel on arrival. We had to move rooms paying an extra 8euros per room per night.This was an extra cost that we had not planned for.If using this hotel for guests,I would recommend that you stipulate they do not receive 1st floor rooms at the back of the hotel ,where they will find no outlook,families of cats on the balcony/verandah ,and very badly equipped bathrooms (missing tiles etc.) The fifth floor has been totally refurbished .
