"The accomodation was excellent but was in annexe up steep hill and we had to come down for breakfast and by the middle of week my hip was quite painful[ im 74] neverthe less we enjoyed our stay ."
Top Tip:
"All the places to eat were good. The little one at the top near the castle was very good and cheap and the view was worth the climb. Lesvos has the reputation for being the best island for food. It's true."

"The Olive Press was a lovely unique place to stay, making no excuses for the fact that it is a converted olive oil factory, one must therefore take onto account rooms which are small & basic however, this is made up for by the fact you are right on top of the beach for your outdoor space. This hotel is worth a try for the ambience & position of the place.
Typically Greek in as much as all were welcome at the pool which to be honest was not a good thing as the local youths tended to congregate there from late morning, and got really loud with their ball games. we gave it a miss, shame really.
The hotel restaurant was in our opinion one of the nicest and best value around, with fantastic views of the bay, service also excellent. The breakfast waiter will entertain you with his wonderful singing, a good start to your day.
The reception staff were amazing & welcoming couldnt have asked more from them."
Top Tip:
"dont forget the beach is pebble! take your sea shoes with you! just go & enjoy"
