"The hotel was just as we expected as we found it on a previous stay in Skiathos and vowed to return. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast could have been a little more varied but very nicely laid out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Situation is ideal for things to do in the evening as it is just a short walk to the main town centre. Views from the hotel are just wonderful. Altogether a good choice and we would not hesitate to stay again and recommend it to couples. Not really suitable for older people due to the location (very hilly upclimb) also couples with young children would not find much to do there. About 15 mins walk to the beach and very accessible for the local bus transport to lots of other lovely beaches. Very enjoyable stay. September 2008. (rainy !!! very rare apparently for that time of year)`"

"This is a lovely small hotel. The location is fantastic in a quiet part of the town but within an easy walk of everything you need. There are a lot of steps if you want the shortest route but there are plenty of really nice longer walks through the small cobbled streets that are less steep.
Beware the kittens! If you hate cats it may not be for you and if you love them you will be giving them all your breakfast and wanting to take them home.
If you want loads of amenities in your accomodation you would find it too basic. For us it had everything we needed. Space, a comfortable bed, loads of hot water and clean towels, working air conditioning and a balcony with a view. The breakfast was very basic even by Greek standards but the cats loved the ham and cheese!"

"An informal and relaxing hotel, with extremely friendly and helpful staff.
In a quiet location, but near to the hustle and bustle of Skiathos town.
Wouldn't be suitable for those with walking difficulties as you have to climb up some pretty steep stairs from the harbour each night.
Although the breakfast is quite basic, the setting more than makes up for that as you eat overlooking the sea and the Bourtzi island.
The room was spotlessly cleaned everyday.
On our last day we were able to use a courtesy room for showering before leaving for the airport, which allowed us to spend a last few hours on the town beach."

"Lovely staff, beautiful views but the climb and the steps to the hotel were a nightmare, so much so that we left after 2 days and had to find ourselves somewhere else to stay at our own expense, you should only stay at this hotel if you are young and very fit."

"The Orsa Hotel is a slightly old-fashioned gem tucked away in the old part of town, just a minute or two's walk up the steep steps near Jimmy's Bar at the far end of the fishing harbour. Rooms have individual features: ours had two windows offering wonderful sea views but a narrow balcony, whilst other rooms have full balconies / garden views sea views. Breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the sea. Rooms were cleaned each day except Sunday and linen changed regularly. All the staff were helpful and cheerful. As with many other hotels in Skiathos Town, access would be problematic for anyone with walking difficulties; taxis can only drop off several hundred tards away. (Goodness knows where you'd park a hire car!)
Check out the hotel's own website for photographs of the hotel and environs."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location with wonderful sea views. It is a quiet area but only a short distance from the harbour. We had a small but delightful balcony. The breakfast was lovely and served on the open air terrace. The only negative point would be is the hotel is situated quite a way from the road and we had to pull our luggage in the heat, which may prove difficult for some people. There are 36 step from the harbour up to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Orsa and plan to return next year."

"The hotel has fabulous views over the sea, both from the rooms and from the breakfast terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a fridge in the room, but take your own kettle for cups of tea. The hotel is positioned in a quiet location within a few minutes of walking to the harbour and the center of Skiathos Town; however, there is a steep flight of steps to climb on the way back, so it would not be suitable for people with walking disabilities."

"great time great service from hotel and youreselves
thank you will use you again
