"Very comfortable with homely atmosphere, pleasant lounge.
The gardens, although not large, are very attractively laid out and the cliff top location is excellent. There are steps down to the beach a few meters away.
Our room, a 'superior' was not as large as expected, in fact the same size as a standard room, but a slightly better sea view. Corridors are carpeted, which make for a quiet ambience. (Rooms are not carpeted).

Maid service was good, with plenty of bathroom amenities.

Table clearance in the restaurant was slow, and the price of 'house wine' was considerably more than we usually pay in four star hotels."
Top Tip:
"Excellent beach and town of Armacao de Pera, with its many bars and restaurants within easy walking distance."
