"We were in the appartments attached to the hotel and were delighted with them. They were fully equipped; washing machine, dishwasher and small electrical appliances and plenty crockery, utensils and crockery. The rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms were well equipped.
As it was February/March when we were there we were pleasantly surprise with the weather - shorts in the daytime, a sweater at night.
We would recommend the hotel to families with or without children. Everyone was catered for in the most friendly way.
Loved the massage I had for Mother's day!

"February 2008. Our apartment was of very high specification, especially the kitchen, which meant preparing meals was a pleasure. The bed in the master bedroom is so big I’m sure it could sleep four. The building work at the rear is still going on, but this was not intrusive. There was more noise generated from passing traffic, although this is infrequent. Our only problem was due to mosquito infestation, emanating we believe, from a disused complex at the rear of the apartment which has a drained swimming pool containing some stagnant water. The reception was very helpful when my wife contacted them, but I’d bring a couple of those mains plug-in repellants if I had the opportunity to stay here again. Another niggle is that the back bedroom can get quite cold during winter. A small heater here would be beneficial – we just left the door open in an attempt to let some heat in. The children loved the shallow swimming pool in the main hotel (free towels for guests). We missed out on the hotel entertainment because we never bothered to check what was scheduled. Apartment set in a lovely setting, professional friendly multilingual staff in the main hotel and excellent maid service. Highly recommended for families."
Top Tip:
"Try the house specialty (cod pizza €8) at La Traviata downtown in Armacao de Pera – delicious!"

"Hotel is lovely, but the resort is fairly quiet."
Top Tip:
"The fish restaurant on the beach is nice, also the Italian at the hotel, and the Italian up the hill on the left is great value. Because the resort is quiet a car is a good idea."

"We were allocated a two bedroom apartment with a sea view it was stunning, the apartment was clean and of high quality. The beach was only 200m away and was fantastic.
The location was perfect for a relaxing break."
Top Tip:
"All the beaches were great, visitors should take the cave boat trip from off the beach on the small boats owned by the local guys its well worth the 30 euros for the one hour trip."

"Very nice and spacious apartment, with the added benefit of being able to use all hotel facilities. Hotel reception staff were extremely helpful and polite.
Only problem was that there was a lot of building work going on right opposite the apartments so there was noise from that from 9am-5pm everyday (which wasn't mentioned on the website). But you couldn't hear it when sitting by the swimming pools."
Top Tip:
"I'd recommend a good wine bar/restaurant about 5-10 mins walk away - only small but food was great - especially the desserts! Service also good - the owner even gave us a lift back to our apartment when it was pouring with rain!"

"Our sea view 1st floor self catering apartment was perfect. Very clean, well equipped and located about 100m from the beach and 50m from 2 swimming pools. The beach and resort was made up of a good mix of mostly Portugese, European and English guests which was great. Praia Senhora Da Rocha was an excellent beach."

"The Fish Resaurant on the beach is excellent. Vilarinho, best you book, recommend the Sea Bream"
