"This is the 2nd year we have stayed at the Pineda Palace and on both occasions we have found this to be very good value for money. The hotel is clean, the food is good and the staff mostly good natured. The only disappoint we had this year was the pool bar was closed. The hotel does cater for international clients."

"The Pineda Palace is a lovely hotel close to the beach. Our room was clean and tidy, however, we didn't get a very good view as we were facing the wall. We booked all inclusive and there was a very large selection to choose from, so Pineda Palace will cater for all.
The hotel only had a hand full of english people staying whilst we were there, but other nationalities were friendly and helpful.
The pool is a rooftop pool and this was rather cold, but maybe for the time of year ok.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The entertainment was a little bit boring some nights because it was just an electric organ. However one night a team of young people did a Grease show, the girls didn't put much effort in but the boys were hilarious so it's definately one to watch out for.
Overall I would rate this hotel as a 3 star."

"Went with 2 of my mates for a lads short break. Should have trusted what I had read from other reviews before going. Hotel was for the older holiday maker and to top it off the weather was awful. Overall very dissapointed."

"There was not enough choice of food which was always cold no matter what time you went down for your meals.
The restaurant and bar staff were totally miserable except one bar waiter named Jose who was always very friendly.
The hotel in general was spotless clean and the entertainment was great."

"Due to a plumbing problem we were transferred to the Hotel Amaika in Calella which is part of the same chain as Pineda Palace. It didn't cause any inconvenience as they arranged taxis for us and upgraded us to all inclusive as compensation."

"The Hotel was full of Spanish pensioners on a goverment holiday, so the food was done to a budjet and to a spanish menue, when the are there British holiday makers should not be taken,
Walls paper thin, unable to sleep due to spanish card players next door, traffic and the trains.
wont be going there again!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"htel room was fine and clean staff at reception ,not interestedhard job to get a word or a smile out of them. food was buffet style. my wife and i watched staff putting out the bacon and egss for breakfast at 22.oo hrs the night before. only entertainment was a disco every night and not a very good oneon the frst 2 nights the air conditioning was going full blast it was freezing,needed to wear a coat in the restuarant and bar.went out most nights as the hotel was deserted in the evenings when we were in we stayed in our room as we could control the air con there.the wife spent afull day and night in bed suffering withh sickness and diarheoa shat be going there again"

"Our stay was marred by the fact the hotel had no heating. We had to sit at breakfast in the morning with jackets over our shoulders as the air con was on constantly. The food was always cold. At night in the bar we had to keep our coats on to watch the entertainment."

"my husband and i found the hotel to be excellent. staff courtesy,helpfullness and smiles all added to the short stay. we actually only stayed 3 nights but found the food quite palatable and there was a variety of choices to suit almost all. great views from the balcony. we would certainly return for a longer stay."

"We found this hotel very clean and friendly, the bar staff were always pleasant and always friendly and polite to the children regardless of age when getting their drinks, ie pops/coke etc. The room was very good, bed linen and towels changed regular, We were surprised how quiet it was around this area as it was half term holidays. Excellent location for the beach, although not warm enough for me to dip my toes. Only improvement would be the food, although very well presented and good choice, it was always on the warm and cooked side, rather than hot, it could be the way they have it served in Spain, but this was the only negative point, a microwave was at hand for useage."
