"In terms of what I paid for a week one stay in this hotel, I thought it was excellent. My room had a warm and cosy feel to it, just what you want to come back to after a long day on the slopes. In terms of the hotel food, I felt that both the breakfast and evening meals offered lots of choice and variety, altohugh my one gripe would be that the food was often served lukewarm rather piping hot, which was abit dissapointing, and for all the positive aspects this hotel has to offer this just took the edge off our stay here. In saying that the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the mian gondala in Soldeu, and the hotel offers a mini-bus service to and from the slopes from 8.30am -11.30am and 3.30pm -5.30pm. All in all a great hotel for the price you pay. Definately a thumbs up from me!."

"The hotel beared no resemblence to a 4 star hote. We stayed there because we have two young children and a disabled person in the party and needed facilities such as swimming pools for the afternoons however in the brochure we gained the hotel information from it stated that the charge would be comparable to local prices however at 12 euros per person this was 5 euros more per adult and 9 euros more per child than local prices if you refer to Pas de la Casa swimming pool which was cleaner and friendlier than the hotel swimming pool. The hotel restaurent staff were less than friendly and colder than the -10 temperature outside. The ambience in the restaurant was also cold and uninviting and on many occasions we were seated as were many other people at tables under no lighting adding to the uninviting and cold environment. The food however was lovely and definately 4 star with fresh salad and food cooked freshly as you watched. A crying shame that almost everything else let the hotel down."
