"We stayed for one week at the Playa Caleta in Varadero and it was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and the entertainers were amazing people. The food wasnt fantastic but that didnt make any difference to our holiday (the a la carte restaurant was good), although Cuba isnt renowned for its food anyway. The beach was beautiful and there was plenty to do during the day, even when it rained. I couldnt have asked for a better holiday and we will be returning to the hotel in April 2008 for some more fun!!!"
Top Tip:
"Clubs to visit.....Discoteque La Rumba, Mambo Club, Discoteque Internacionale, The cave and La Sangria were all excellent. Try Mambo club on a Monday night....brilliant!"

Hotel Details - Playa Caleta Hotel

The hotel was completely renovated in 2005. The all-inclusive resort is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and includes 255 rooms over 7 floors, of which 8 are suites. Facilities includes a terrace, a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange, a hotel safe and a lift. Further facilities include a café, a kiosk, a bar, a nightclub, a TV room, a restaurant and Internet access. A laundry service is also available and younger guests are offered a kids club as well as a playground. Bike rental and a car park also feature within the hotel.
