"Second stay at this hotel as good as the first."

"Hotel was fine. Entertainment at the Hotel was O.K, but, in my opinion, the Piano Player "did his own thing" rather than play for the Guests."

"Had a lovely time at the hotel - much better than expected. Dressing gowns and slippers supplied free with our Sea View room and our room was larger than other hotel rooms we have stayed in. Note the hotel is on a hill and many stairs in the hotel, but lifts always available. The food provided in our half board package was buffet style cuisine with a good international selection so something to please everyone. Stayed during the October half term so plenty of English in the hotel but fewer other tourists at this time of year, so the island was relatively quiet with lovely warm weather. Would certainly use this hotel again and happily recommend it."

"Only problem we had was, due to the late booking, we were not 'on he system' at either airport. However, this only delayed checking in for a few minutes.
Excellent service, transfers immediate we were he only people in the mini bus both times!
I will certainly be recommending your website and using it again myself.
Thank you."

"This hotel is excellent for families. The children and I were so impressed when we visited last year, that it was our first choice again this year. The pools are lovely and there is a brilliant slide for the kids. My two children are 8 and 10 and also enjoyed spending time in the kids club and playing pool and mini golf.
It is in a small quiet resort, situated very close to a small beach and a parade of shops. The hotel is immaculate and the service is impeccable and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"Fifth visit to this excellent hotel - it never fails to deliver. Very good restaurant with buffet meals."

"Fabulous Hotel - Clean & Fresh - Food Superb and Plentiful. Pools and beds great. Towels provided for pool area. Just a brilliant hotel - 3rd time we've been."

"This is an excellent hotel with good facilities. There are 3 pools and a water slide to keep the younger ones entertained during the day, along with a kids club and many daily competitions and activities. In the evening, there is a piano bar for those who like a quiet drink and a music hall, with different acts each night, for those who like something a little more lively.
The beach and local shops and bars are only a few minutes walk away so, unless you want to, there is no need for a hire car.
Definitely a hotel meant for families and older groups - the 18-30's crowd are much better served in Play de Las Americas"

"Cannot comment too much as I only had one night."

"The hotel was as per the pictures in brochures and internet, it was amazingly beautiful. All staff were helpful and friendly, especially staff in the Pool/Snack Bar "La Palapa". Rooms were cleaned immaculately everyday.
All in all, FANTASTIC hotel and location."

"Had a great time. The hotel was superb-clean, well organised, friendly staff, good food and loads of activities for children as well as adults.
Definitely worthwhile getting a sea view room as it was a beautiful view. If you want a lazy laid back holiday staying mainly in the hotel, then this is the place. If you want a wild night-life then best to go to another resort, as Playa de La Arena is rather quiet. The beach is small and a bit disappointing, but we hardly neede to go there."

"A++++++++++++++
it was a excellent holiday ,excellent hotel, excellent staff so basically it was brilliant!!!!!!!!!!"

"Highly Recommended!!
Very stylish & classy Hotel.
Resort built around cliffs so there are many steps & hills - So maybe not too suitable for people who has mobility issues."

"rooms very small, food very average, drinks very expensive 2 euros for a dash of tonic in a 3.30 euro gin ! Reception would not let us upgrade to all inclusive even though we were informed 30 minutes until the office shut for New Year we were double booked and sent to this hotel on full board as an alternative to all inclusive at the Dunas Hotel in Playa Paraiso. In addion to price of holiday we spent an extra £1200 in one week to eat out and drink for 2 adults and 2 children. Refunded £105 for change of hotel and resort. Sea very choppy close to resort, we hired a car and drove to Costa Adeje."

"Excellent food, location, pool areas. Great Holiday like staying in a botanical garden!
Great selection of Tenerife wines in the restaurant."

"The hotel certainly warrents it's 4star rating. Buffet style food was excellent. Staff were very polite and eager to be of assistance. The whole ambience of the hotel was one of relaxation being well looked after and quality presentation. Can't recommend it highly enough. Will definatley return."

"This was our third visit to the Hotel Playa La Arena and the standard is still very high. We had a superior room which was kept clean and tidy with a fantastic view from the balcony across the pool areas to the sea.
The restaurant was very busy at weekends but calmed down during the week and the buffet style food was excellent quality which varied from day to day, I particularly liked the steak.
What we saw of the evening entertainment was usually not that good, with the disco aimed at the German guests mainly.
Children are catered for with a pool and waterslide and a mini disco later on.
Our only complaint was that when having a drink outside at night it was very poorly lit.
There is not a lot going on in the Playa La Arena area with a few "English" bars and restaurants, we tended to go to Playa Santiago or Los Gigantes but they too are low key.
As repeat customers we qualified for a Spring hotel discount card which gave us 15% off everything we spent at the hotel - well worth applying for.
I can recommend this hotel if you are looking for a quiet holiday at a lovely hotel."

"Food, staff and room all perfect. A most enjoyable holiday."

"First class for claenliness and standards of service."

"Perfect hotel with excellent facilities, a class above the rest, something for everyone-cant fault it."

"Beautfil hotel, great setting, fantastic facilities, very helpful & accommodating staff - nothing was too much trouble. would def. revisit hotel & would recommend to family & friends."
