"Excellent food. Hotel very clean and staff are friendly. However out of 1500 guests only 37 were English! The hotel entertainment wasn't much to shout about but that seems to be the case throughout egypt."

"This was an excellent holiday,good accomadation and facitlities at the hotel, staff were friendly and helpful and the meals were very good, some excellent freshly cooked dishes each day. We are a family of 5 and the children enjoyed the slides, pools, table tennis, chess, table football and mini golf all included in the price. We were able to book trips to Cairo and Luxor and a days snorkling aswell as a trial at scuba diving. "

"Very disappointing. The restaurants were more like canteens. The tables were not cleared or laid for the next guests who had to find their own cutlery and napkins. There was no dress code and no Maitre D to escort guests to tables. We have stayed in better 3* hotels than this. Charges were made for theme evenings and the ala carte restaurant which was very poor indeed. This hotel does not feature in any UK Tour Operators brochure - I now know why!"
"Hotel was pretty basic, I would not class this a 5 star maybe a 3star. Staff could have been a bit friendlier. The hotel caters mainly for deutch, russian, french. Animation activities through the dy where all in french so if you couldnt speak french your were stuffed. Food was mainly same every day. Egyptian night not part of AI paid for to the person selling and then had pay on checkingout as the waiter pocketed the money given. Ask for the copy receipt as it had cash on it and still waiting."

"Beach albatros was a nice hotel in hurghada and would be recommended, right on the beach lovely harbour, the weather was nice, snorkelling right off the private beach and would recommend the snorkelling or scuba diving trips theyre a great experience in the red sea! The people in egypt like anywhere can be a little annoying at times trying to make a small buisiness just say politely no thankyou they should leave you alone. The food in the hotel was nice plenty to choose from and the bar service in the all inclusive was good too. Overall a nice holiday would return some time again in the future. "
"i would not advise anyone to go for a bungalow room unless you are a clubber, the first night we found out what the building about 5 mtrs from our window, it was a nightclub, so after being bounced around the room all night we got our rep to get us moved into a room in the main block, with a pool view. more like 3 star"
"Although the hotel was busy, there were more than enough staff to make us feel well and truly spoilt. The hotel and grounds were spotlessly clean and there were always enough sunbeds around the large grounds and on the beach."

"The hotel was clean and had lots of staff to hand. Although it was very full the peole were absorbed because the hotel was very big. The kids club could have had better activities. The pools were lovely to look at but were extremely cold and nobody went into them (although there was one outdoor heated pool which was good for children). The New Years Gala was entertaining and they had good food that night. Although the hotel was good I would not class it as 5 star, more 3/4."
"IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE SUN IN NOVEMBER YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.THIS IS OUR SECOND STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND IT SUITS US FINE.OK YES THERE ARE LOADS OF GERMANS & OTHER NATIONALITIES BUT WE JUST GOT ON WITH WHAT WAS BEST FOR OUR HOLIDAY.WE AREN'T BOTHERED ABOUT NIGHT LIFE BUT IF YOU ARE IT IS LIMITED FOR ENGLISH.THE FOOD IS NOT BAD AND PLENTIFUL FROM 7am - MIDNIGHT. THE DRINKS ARE NOT BAD EITHER,MIGHT NOT BE AS GOOD AS AT HOME BUT OK. DON'T FORGET THIS IS A BIG COMPLEX ON THE BEACH WITH BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AND FOOD & DRINK AT YOUR DISPOSAL,SO JUST GO HERE AND CHILL OUT AND GET A NICE TAN IN THE PROCESS.DON'T WORRY ABOUT CLEANLINESS OR HOSPITALITY, IT IS VERY LEAN AND THE EGYPTIANS ARE NICE PEOPLE SO BE NICE TO THEM AND HAVE A GOOD TIME. "We had an excellent holiday - the service and staff were very friendly - the rooms were clean and comfortable. The water slides were great for the children and all the pools very clean. Weather excellent and the food was OK although more choice would have been better especially into the second week. I would recommend both the resort and hotel as excellent value for money. "
