"Apartment was basic but clean (beds not very comfy!)
Swimming pools and grounds excellent, plenty of sunloungers to go round!
Food was ok but hot food not very hot."Top Tip:

"Could not fault the hotel but the food wasn't very good, just luke warm, even when we were among the first into the dining room and the food was just freshly put out. They catered more for the spanish guests, we went half board but had to eat out a few nights just so that we could have a good meal."

"Hotel was clean and well presented.
Although cleaners stayed away a bit, they could have changed bedding and towels more often.
Layout was poor for push chairs, with access to the swimming pool area via a large ramp.
Snack bar and drinks bar in resort not very welcoming to non spanish people.
No kettle in the room - not a problem - we took our own travel kettle.
Infestation of ants on the last day!!!!"Top Tip:
"Italian restaurant on the shore was good, great atmosphere and a warm welcome.
Blue Lagoon good for breakfast or a snack during the day.
Plenty of pizza places to dine.

"If you want a spanish bar turn left out of the pueblo and on the left is
"Bar Isabel". Very friendly.

"Self catering but you have to hire a kettle and microwave.
Rooms are not really child friendly ie my 2 year old climbed on to a bed, Very easily opened 2 window catches and had a go at climbing out - 4 floors up. Changed rooms and they put us on the ground floor -and then installed a party of six young spanish girls in the room above who flamenco danced all night till 6 in the morning!!!! Changed rooms again, this time given a room at the back of the hotel on the ground floor again right next to where the hotel bins were emptied at 3.00am every morn. Didnt sleep much on this hol - nor did my 2 year old son!! - bad choice and preferntial treatment given to the predominantly spanish guests.. Ps the place is also full of stairs - a nightmare with a pushchair.."Top Tip:
"Viva is a good restaurant. Didnt really have a bad meal in Mojacar - standard outside the hotel is very good. Dont stay at this hotel if you are elderly, want to meet some english friends or if you have kids. "GREAT HOTEL, FANTASTIC LOCATION,BEEN THERE BEFORE ,REALLY LIKE THE LOCATION AND FACILITIES,TRAVEL REPUBLIC GAVE US THE BEST RATES , EVEN BETTER THAN BOOKING DIRECT WITH THE HOTEL."

"you can make this holiday as quiet or as lively as you want to. some lovely bars ... sands bar being one . fantastic couple who own it and does evrything from great cheap breakfast to late night kareoke. blue lagoon covers again great food pub quizes and theme nights. the loft covers all your sport"

"I think the Pueblo Indalo has something for everyone. It has two good size pools, lots of sunbeds, a large entertainments area with entertainment every night, a good kids club. It is right near the beach, shops, bars, restaurants, etc and near to Old Mojacar town which is full of history. Apartments are basic but comfortable. Only small complaint is the lack of electrical goods available - no kettle, toaster, hairdryer, etc. A small welcome pack of milk, coffee, teabags, etc would also go down well, as we arrived at midnight with no provisions.
But, all in all, I loved it ( have been twice)"Top Tip:

"We stayed in one of the brand new 2 bedroom apts and it was huge with a great seaview. One of the best points about this complex was the entertainment in the evening. Each night the team entertained the kids first then put on an excellent show. Overall the apartment complex was great for families and also a perfect location for the beach."

"Very Nice Hotel/Appartements. Clean towels and beds made every day. Nice pool. Pool a little cold in early June. Air conditioning only turned on 15 June. Night Entertainment very minimum only weekends but we were early season. Lots of retired Spanish people more than young families. Mid-day close of many shops etc takes getting used to."
Top Tip:
"Lots of nice places to eat all reasonably cheap. The hotel/appartements restraunt on site good for kids who couldn't make up their mind. All food displayed and then take what you want and as much as you like. Any amount of ice-cream to finish up. Price was €12 fro adults and €6 for kids. Also on Saturday night great place to eat ARIBA restraunt Saturday special includs starter, main course,dessert and wine for a very reasonable price. Very nice friendly owners also. "The hotel is very well set out - especially the garden areas. Not good for older people as lots of steps to climb. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by and the beach just over the road. Good bus service to other resorts."

"Pueblo Indalo is a beautiful complex with landscaped gardens, water features and pools. A bit of refurbishment would not go amiss though as out of four apartments our party was using , only one had a cooker that fully worked. We first used the Pueblo Indalo 17 years ago and the furnishings are the same today. We were also disappointed that the entertainmment programe had finished for the season by the time we went on holiday in the first week of the Scottish school holidays."

"No air conditioning , apartment like a sauna, air con switched off only works in high season although it didn't say this on web site. Long walk from reception to apartment (actually last block ) hugh tree right outside balcony blocking what would have been a nice view, and full of birds roosting every night at 20hrs and every morning at 8am . No hairdryer, no kettle and apartment dated and in need of a make over. Wouldn't stay there again."

"It was a really easy and pleasant stay - the maid came in to change linen etc on several occasions - the apartment was lovely and spacious and clean and good facilities and crocery etc for cooking for ourselves - the staff were friendly and amenable to answer our questions - would definitely recommend it to others"

"Cleaning of the apartment not very good in fact poor. Disappointed there was no entertainment at night. Staff did'nt seem very friendly at the bar."
