"The Hotel was excellent, we could,nt have wished for more, right on the beach, close to centre, food and rooms excellent, staff very friendly and helpful, also one of the first hotels we have been in where the towels were change every day, transfers also very good with resort hopps."

"Very pleased with the Hotel ,although slightley dated in its decor it had a loveley feeling to it , our room was as requested with a sea veiw and none smoking and very clean as was the whole of the Hotel the staff never stopped cleaning .
all staff were very helpful and polite ,the restaurant served a excelent selection of food every day , there was not a day that we felt we had to go out for a meal"

"We all had a great time. The hotel was spotlessley clean, right on the lovely beach of Cala Gran and in a really peaceful spot, despite being only a short walk from the bars and restaurants of the resort. Thanks also to the staff who were very helpful and made us feel really welcome, the chefs for the wonderful breakfast and dinner each day and also to the guys on the bar who were great too."

"Hotel staff very friendly and helpfull. Food enough to eat each day but more variety would be nice. Very clean and towels changed every day which was nice.
Airconditioning in our bedroom was quite noisy but we had to have it on at night or bake. Lift was very small (4 people only)"

"Having reviewed many hotels in the Cala D'or area before booking, we were very pleased with our choice - The Rocador.

The reviews we read advised choosing the Rocador itself, rather than it's sister hotel the Rocador Playa.

The Rocador was brilliant.

Everything about the hotel was first class - the allocated room (with excellent views over the gardens and Cala Gran beach/bay) - the pool (which was exceptionally clean and never overly busy) - the restaurant (which had an excellent selection for breakfast every day) - housekeeping (which was daily) and the reception (which was open 24 hours with very helpful staff).

Cala D'or itself was a beautifully clean town with a fantastic selection of bars and restaurants.

Many beaches were within walking distance and there was much to do each day and night.

I wasn't aware of any noisy night clubs close to where I stayed, although I'm sure there must have been some in the town.

In all, for the 6 days we stayed, I have to say pound for pound, Cala D'or proved to be an excellent holiday."

"The hotel is clean and staff are friendly. We did request a room in the Rocador as opposed to Rocador Playa as we had read bad reports about the playa, however apparently there were no rooms available in rocador so ended up in the Playa which was better than expected. It does have carpet down which probably could do with being changed but apart from that the rooms were ok, we had a beach view and air con was good. The bar maid was a lovely person, we are learning spanish and she was keen to help us."

"This was the first time I had booked a holiday on the internet and it went swimmingly well with no hitches what so ever so will book again through you.

The Rocador player is situated in a lovely location and I found all the staff to be helpful and friendly. On the other hand though it has to be said that the food is far below average being a buffet style breakfast and buffet style evening meal. I ate in the restaurant only twice and could suffer it no more so went out and about to eat which of course adds a whole new budget to your holiday.

The hotel is also very basic however, this didn't bother me in the slightest, I was there for the sea, a nice swimming pool and great location, all of which I got.

If only the Rocodor could improve the food, maybe a bit of a refurb, it would be perfect.

Cala d' or is one of the best locations I have stayed at in Majorca."

"the rocador playa complex cala d or,hotel majorca. was brill well worth the money, what a lovely place could not fault it at all the food was very good rooms cleaned everyday and towel if u want them. the location was excellent the beach was clean and sea was lovely and clear,just some steps from hotel down to the beach it was great what more can u ask for. everything u need is there its more like a 4-5 star both me and my husband would recommend this hotel to enyone, just loved it. we was not ready for home enjoyed it so much wish we had longer will be going back soon."

"Hotel was great, although I would say stay away from the food, me and the girlfriend tried booked Half Board because for some reason it was cheaper than Self Catering for some odd reason!

The breakfast was not nice at all, and the dinner, half way through the second night we got up and walked out and went to a restaurant, you can get meals for 2 plus a drink each for under 13 euros, I'd say definately go self catering and leave the hotel food alone!

Overall the hotel was nice, basic room had no fridge which was a bit annoying, but the room was nice and cool, and the air con was great so our water stayed nice and cold. The beach is right next door to the hotel and the shops and bars are a 2min walk!!"
