"The staff were very pleasant and helpful the only complaint was there were no drink making facilities in the room and with the bar and restaurant closing by 10-30 the only place to get a hot drink was at the garage across the road"

"Right by the hotel is a tram stop which means you can getaround very quickly"

"Very clean and served the purpose but was very basic."
Top Tip:
"Use tram 8 or 10 to get into the city centre, you can buy tickets on the tram but you must remember to validate them on the tram."

"During my stay the hotel was packed full of school kids they were noisy, rude and not supervised properly by their teachers. Although the hotel itself is ok I got the impression that huge school parties were regular visitors so it is unsuitable for most other travellers. They did serve a good breakfast though and all staff were friendly and helpful...perhaps just ring to check who else will be there during your stay!!! "
Top Tip:
"Several trams from town stop just at the end of the road, including one that goes directly to the train/bus station. Couple of little supermarkets open late just down the road, and lots of good cake shops."

"This hotel is great value for money and is only 4 trams stops from the centre (takes about 10-15mins) and is a great base for exploring Krakow. The hotel provides a continental breakfast with a wide choice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."

"The reception staff were very pleasant, helpful and accomodating. Rooms kept well and great fresh smell in them. The buffet breakfast was very disappointing - bread was hard and I used it just for toast. "

"Sorry...just took taxi's into market square...be aware of costs of taxi trips - vey big difference in costs!"

"Very good staff (from reception to cleaning) - eager to please by going the extra mile. (football results ? - no problem sir! -- extra pillow? - we'll do it now!) Shame that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Single duvets on a double bed took some getting used to and there was the occasional chipped piece of crockery in the breakfast room. We would stay there again and have already recommended the hotel to friends"

"On arrival at our designated hotel in the suburbs, we were transferred to a "sister hotel" (for whatever reason!) situated within walking distance of the old town, which turned out to be just as good and certainly a preferred location. Breakfast was average but very substantial. As much to eat as one wanted. In my opinion the breakfast would have benefited from toast and maybe bacon to accompany the scrambled eggs which were delightful. Everyone was very polite and helpful and I would certainly stay there again given the opportunity. Everything on the holiday went like clockwork. Good flights and both on time. "
Top Tip:
"The "Folk Restaurant" (down an alleyway off the main square) was excellent. Great food and excellent service (and very very inexpensive!)."

Hotel Details - Galicya Hotel

Located only 15 minutes by tram from the city centre, about 2 km away, the Galicya hotel is part of RT Hotels and offers elegant and modern accommodation. The pink exterior adds an element of creativity to the hotel's decor. All rooms have carpet, of a good size and equipped with modern amenities. The onsite "Galicya" restaurant offers a wide range of excellent Polish and International cuisine. Professionally run hotel with friendly staff.

Airport:
Transfer from the hotel to airport takes about 20 mins by taxi and costs c. €20.00 per journey.

Parking:
Uncovered parking is available at c. €5.00 per 24hrs.

Restaurant:
The restaurant is open from 7.00am to 10.00pm and serves a wide range of dishes and desserts.
