"We did not need to leave the hotel for our poolside holiday -even the poolside bar/restaurant was excellent.In our opinion whilst both restaurants were extremely good,the one on the 4th floor had the edge for the evening meal.Overall an extremely good hotel"

"Small and quiet resort. Only three hotels and a few apartment blocks. Enough bars and restaurants for all tastes, but without any anti social elements. The Audax hotel was clean and comfortable with great staff and service. The hotel restaurants were well managed and the food was very good throughout our stay. The spa area was adequate, but not the best we have been to. The beach was close by to all the hotels vith good shallow, clean water and a life guard on duty every day. There is also a small river flowing out through the town into the sea which is very attractive and has been made a feature of the town by providing a wooden walkway along it's banks for all to enjoy."

"Food was ok - always something to suit - but have had much better.
A lovely clean, comfortable and well presented hotel - most entertainment in the evening was acceptable but on a couple of occasions rock bands much much too loud which could be heard on the 7th floor even with the tv turned up. This really did spoil which would otherwise be described as a relaxing hotel.

"Nice Room but ona small side
We have initially given a very dark room without balcony or proper window it had a "light well" facing a brick wall - had to pay 11.10 euros extra a day to move to another standard room.
Food in both restaurant very good"Top Tip:
"Beach next to hotel very nice but a lot of Jelly fish when sea was rough
If You want to hire an umbrella and 2 sunbeds on beach will cost 19 euro per day.

"The hotel is just beautiful, the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The rooms are on the small side and I would for sure pay the extra for a sea view as it is such an amazing sea view!"

"Hotel Audax was a very nice 4 star hotel. It was clean and friendly and the rooms were well equipped, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Any requests were quickly and efficiently dealt with by the hotel staff. The restaurant was very well run and the food was excellent with a wide choice to suit everyone.
The pool area was very clean and well designed and the pool was a good size.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for families and couples but would say the resort would not particularly suit young people looking for a more lively holiday.
The hotel has a Spa, the use of which incurrs extra charges. We had a Thermal Circuit in the hydrotherapy pool whilst we were there and it was lovely; a very relaxing 90 minutes which I would certainly recommend.
There was entertainment every evening in the Blue Cafe downstairs which was of a good standard and suited most tastes. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."Top Tip:
"The beach at Cala Galdana is very nice and was very busy but peaceful with everyone just having a nice relaxed time. Cala Galdana is a lovely resort, very pretty and not too lively. A perfect resort for a relaxing beach holiday.
There is a bus service and if you did not have your own transport you could ask for details at the hotel reception. The buses were more like coaches and were clean and air conditioned and the fares were reasonable.
There is a small 'train' which does a full circuit of the resort for 6 euros. The trip lasts about 30 minutes and takes you around the areas you perhaps wouldn't manage on foot. "Super hotel with great restaurants and nice and close to the beach. The Spa is fabulous and the prices are really cheap when compared to the UK. My wife and I used the Thermal circuit everyday which is 1.5 hours in the spa for only £7.50 each!!!"

"Hotel Audax Cala Galdana- excellent service- staff were extremely helpful and friendly and made a fuss of our son on his birthday. Food was exceptional and there was a huge choice for breakfast and dinner. Quality entertainment every night if you want it and general facilities -gym,spa, pools very good indeed. We were provided with a room to shower and change as we were leaving late and were given clean towels etc.We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will certainly return sometime."

"It's a chilled hotel. Beautiful rattan sun beds. No up and early to save a sunbed. It's forbidden. Fine by us. To the pool at 10am and still choose where to lay. Plenty of umbrellas and shade if required. Great pool for swimming lengths. No dodging lilos and children. No lilos allowed in pool and children under 14 have to be accompanied by an adult. Great views across the bay. Buffet food across 2 restaurants with show cooking. Food excellent with professional and friendly waiter staff. Maid service everyday. Would go back again"

"From the outside the hotel does not seem much and the exterior fabric of the building could do with a lick of paint, my room did overlook the pool and did not get the sun. Inside the hotel is immaculate the service, a room standard were what should be expected from a 4* hotel..All in all a very enjoyable stay with good food and great service."

"We went June 1st, hotel was excellent, good food, they had two restaurants
but we usually dined on the 4th floor one rather than the 5th.
Pool was good also as was the snackbar, and service terrific.
All the staff were first rate.
We will certainly be going back later this year.

"Excellent hotel, great for families with small kids. We took our 5month old daughter and could not have been happier with all services. Great location with wonderf
