"Lovely clean smart hotel. Good food. Beautiful Pool. Good sized room but NO ALCOHOL."
Top Tip:
"No Bars and No Alcohol in Essouira. Hidden away ? possibly illegal off-licence. Interesting place but extremely windy. Strong North - night time temperature in July probably about 20 but with wind chill possibly 10 - Need a jumper/jacket. No good for wind surfing - flat waves."

Property Summary

Location

The rooms are like a small buildings- trying to imitated the traditional Riads - all around the fantastic pool. The 140 rooms and 16 suites all have heating, en-suite bathrooms, satellite television, telephone and personal safes (for an extra cost). The rooms are medium-sized and comfortable. Although it is not profusely decorated, they are done in taste and give a good impression. The bathrooms, again, are good in size.

With two restaurants, the hotel covers the traditional Moroccan food , such as tagines and cous-cous- but also offers international dishes. The hotel also offers fairly good room service.

The exterior looks like a traditional low-rise building, although it is new construction.

Although its location is not the best in Essaouira, this should not be an obstacle to booking this hotel, as guests will enjoy its service, price and quality. Again, it is a short drive by car or a cheap petite taxi ride to the centre of La Medina. This hotel is recommended. (11/08 SB)
