"LOVELY WARM FRIENDLY STAFF - NOTHING TOO MUCH TROUBLE - ALSO FELT VERY SAFE - WE ALLOWED OUR 2 DAUGHTERS (12 & 8) TO GO TO BREAKFAST AND TO THE POOL ON THEIR OWN - LOVELY BUFFET BREAKFAST, THE HIGHLIGHT BEING THE OMELETTE / EGG CHEF WHO SANG AND FLIPPED THE PANS WITH SUCH STYLE IT WAS LIKE WATCHING A SHOW!!"

Pavel from London reviewed the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Resort and Spa Hotel
"The hotel itself is nice. However, we were surprised by few little annoying rules of the hotel like that swimming in the pool is not allowed after 8pm. Also, there is a green metal gate at the back which leads to the beach and all the restaurants and shops. You need you room card to open the gate on the way back. Be advised though, that the gate gets locked at 12o'clock midnight sharp so if you are a party animal or you just had a nice romanitic night out you better be ready either to take a cab or walk about 2kilometers to enter from the main gate.
Surprisingy for Sheraton hotels none of our additional requirements was in place. We asked for a room with a double bed but were originally given a room with 3 single beds. It was pleasant to have a complimentary basket of fruit and a bottle of wine but no cork screw. Because we arrived at 3am we were looking forward to room service as all the restaurants and coffee shops were closed at that time of night. We ordered a simple club sandwich and had to wait 45 minutes.
Hotel was advised as very close to the beach or nearly at the beach line which is not quite true. You have to walk about 160 steps down, and then up in the heat. The beach near the hotel is not the Sheraton beach. If you go to the beach near the hotel you pay extra for the sun chairs etc. The Sheraton's beach is a free 5 minute bus ride. The beach shuttle survice is provided by the hotel every hour which is not good if you miss one. Be advised that the shuttle service only operates until 6.30pm so if you decide to have a nap on the beach it is going to cost you taking a cab back.If you like sand beaches book somewhere else or be ready to travel. The local private beach and the hotel beach are with pebbles.
Drinks in the hotel as expensive as in nice London pubs and restaurants. A soft drink at the pool costs about 7.5lira. For these money we bought 2icecreams, a big bottle of water and a coke just outside of the hotel on the way to the beach.
If you are a gym bunny bring your gear. GYM and SPA are nice. Nothing fantastic but it's there and usable.
And last bit of info which none smokers would find handy...we were told by the receptionist that the hotel doesn't have dedicated none smoking rooms. However, with the air conditioner and door open it really didn't make any difference to me.
Breakfast was a bit borring. Lots of options but no baked beans so forget about having tipical English breakfast here.

"Local taxi drivers are multi purpose ones. They would give you a long ride all over the city if you mention that you have just arrived. It's nice if you want to save on Hop on Hop off service :-)
Try to arrange your local excursions by yourself or you get overcharged.
Don't expect turist guides so get yourself a good tourist guide book."

Richard from Didsbury reviewed the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Resort and Spa Hotel
"The staff, the hotel and it's facilities were first class in every respect. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone (without exception) was very friendly and helpful.
Our only qualms (and they are small ones) are that external restaurants and entertainments are a bit of a distance away on foot, as is the beach. However, the beach shuttle makes up for it.
It's a fab place!"
Top Tip:
"Yes, the 7 Mehmet's restaurant is superb and is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel (or a short taxi ride).
If you are visiting in late June/July be sure to check out the events at the Roman theatre at Aspendos. It's a once in a lifetime experience."

Steven from Leeds reviewed the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Resort and Spa Hotel
"This was a wonderful hotel. The pool was brilliant and ver clean. The rooms were of a vry good size. We had booked the hotel as we had just got engaged and the hotel gave us a free half bottle of champagne and a beautiful cake. The fitness suite was of a good size and had a good equipment. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. It is not the most lively area but there are some beautiful restaurants if you walk on the cliff path towards antalya city, and also some good shops in antalya. The beach is just a short walk and is surrounded by restaurants and bars. we got a taxi from the airport and the cost on the way out at 4:30a.m was 55lira which was quite expensive but on the way back at the reasonable time of 8pm it was only 30lira. The taxis all used the metre so no need to haggle. I would definately visit this hotle again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday. We went out of the main season but i have been told that it does get alot busier so should have a good nightlife in the local area. "

Robin from Romford reviewed the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Resort and Spa Hotel
"A fine hotel, a credit to the chain. Highly efficient, superb service and friendly. Excellent cuisine - an omelette chef on hand each breakfast time and stunning buffets at breafast & evening meal.
Superb pool area and gardens and a tram to town just 5 mins walk away. Exceptional value through travel republic."
Top Tip:
"Antalya has excellent public parks (with water features, cafes, restaurants etc.) all along the clifftops in either direction from the hotel - work off the giant meals! Central Antalya is a real town with real shops, eateries, theatres and a major football club - not a tourist trap like some resorts."

Karen from Hebden Bridge reviewed the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Resort and Spa Hotel
"Hotel lovely, food very good, reception very helpful and professional. Convenient for the city of Antalya, although the old town is like a building site at the moment so not very pleasant to walk round. We used it as a base to visit the surrounding area, using both public transport and a hire car. Favourite trips were Phaselis and Olympos/Cirali. "

M from dagenham reviewed the Sheraton Voyager Antalya Resort and Spa Hotel
"Service was very good, bedrooms clean and good standard. The food was good as well. Pools open late, very relaxing. One big positive is that it's not far from the airport, so if you're arriving in the early mornings, you're in your room within 30min. I would recommend go there. "
Top Tip:
"Do not touch the mini bar in your rooms, as it would cost you a lot of money; better to drink out. One negative is that you have to walk down the clif to get to the beach. Nevertheless, the walk way is quite nicely done. Note the close the back door to the beach side late evenings, therefore you have to walk around the complex to get to the main entrance. Apart from that it's very good, I would definately go back."

Top Tip:
"The old walled city of Antalya with its arched entrance in place. The wheel tracks of the chariots clearly engraved in the stone road way. This leads down to the old harbour with resturants overlooking the bay of Antalya."
