"Cannot praise this hotel highly enough. Part of the Sofitel chain with international standards. Booked the holiday independently (not a package) and arranged transfers through the concierge, emails replied to in less than 30 minutes! Staff very attentive, professional and multi-lingual. Highly recommend. Perfect for a relaxing week. International guests with the Brits in the minority, which to me is very refreshing. All inclusive food boring after a few days, so use the "dine around" priveledge. Free shuttle bus again excellent with first class time keeping. Well worth going 5 star, since neighbouring hotels can be a little "garish". Would definitely book again at a Sofitel hotel and through Travel Republic. Travel Republic staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful. First Choice Airways - for a 5.5 hour flight, they need to put on larger aircraft. Flight timings good, but comfort level on the flight extremely poor. "
Top Tip:
"Like many foreigners, had to visit the hotel doctor. Do not listen to the stories about "funny food" - it is actually a combination of extreme heat and air conditioning which leads to an imbalance. Saw the doctor within 10 minutes on a Friday - the "holy day" and was treated very professionally and promptly. Again cannot praise him highly enough. "

"Excellent hotel, good service, well kept grounds. Nice rooms with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Sun loungers always available. Pools clean, but quite cold. I'm sure that they'll warm up during the summer months! Helpful, polite staff."

"We had the best beach holiday ever! If you are looking for chilled days by the pool or on the beach, with a bit of snorkelling thrown in - it's perfect. Don't go here if you are looking for lots of nightlife as it's not there - even though as mid 30's couple we were more than happy with the couple of restaurants and bars. All staff were very friendly and helpful - even more so if you tip them a couple of quid! Hotel complex was very clean and modern, the room was great with an amazing view - I would recommend an upgrade to a plaza room. Food was of a very good standard, I did hear some moans but what do people expect for all-inclusive - it is not a la carte. Even so the fish and salads were great. All-inclusive drinks were perfect for us - local larger was v nice, lots of large gin and tonics and even the local wine was good - a first for us."
Top Tip:
"Don't change money into Egyptian pounds - take English pounds or Dollars - exhange rate is better. Also we did the trips to Petra, Jordan; Juraseulum and St Catherines Monastery - we are not religious but all three trips were amazing and well worth it."
