"The hotel was of a resonable standard, apart from meeting regular victims of food poisoning and a clear negligence on the part of the staff on doing anything about it! I have marked this resort as 'Okay' which, in my opinion, is not the kind of description you want your customers returning home with. I searched the internet for many days looking to find a resort that delivered the same level of quality as a previous hotel I visited (Sunscape 'The Beach' Punta Cana) When I saw the resort advertised under the Sunscape name I trusted it on the grounds of its reputation. To be quite frank I'm not sure where this title came from as, upon arrival, the resort has a different name and all the packaging on the various products within it bear the name 'Globalia Hotels' which is not a name that carries anywhere near the reputation of the competitior I assumed I was booking with. Basically, to me it sounds like a breach of the false descriptions act. Please contact me regarding your thoughts - Thankyou for your time"

Hotel Details - Grand Oasis Punta Cana Hotel

The Grand Oasis Marien Hotel can be found a short distance from the Victorian city of Puerto Plata overlooking a fine sandy beach and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation including palms. There are top dive sites and superb off-road opportunities nearby as well as being less than one hour from the city of Santiago de Los Caballeros, well known for its fine cigars and old rum factories.
