"Hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment was adequate for our needs although I don't think the beds were swept underneath very often. .
It was fun to watch everybody queuing up in the morning for their sunbeds although we didn't spend much time around the pool as we found the beach quieter and the walk to the beach was good exercise

"We had booked to stay at TENERIFE SUR (opposite Christian Sur) however on arrival we were informed we had been allocated Christian Sur. The Duplex Appartment and all facilities were excellent. Staff from reception to cleaners very helpful & pleasant. The apparment we had was fully equipt to meet all your holiday needs. complex Clean with well laid out grounds and swimming pools But insufficient sun beds for number of appartments. Beware When booking ,if you book Tenerife Sur and Get Allocated Christian Sur Not a problem unless you have disabilities as the appartments in Christian Sur Do not have lifts to any part of the complex which could cause you problems.
We would certainly go to these appartments again."Top Tip:

"the pool area, rooms and general areas are all well maintained and clean.
the food is reasonably priced, and very good.
we would recommend it and definately go back, small downside is the lack of parasols!

las velas on the front is a fantastic restaurant.

"We found the Tenerife Sur and apartment allocated to us perfect.The staff were friendly and apartment above our expectations for the price we paid.We cannot fault it."

"The restaurant attached to the apartments was very good. "we booked the tenerife sur apartments because we heard very good reports but when we arrived we were told that we had to go to their sister apartments, cristian sur apts this was totally unsuitable as there were no lifts at this complex and we were placed on the second floor. we looked at the cristian sur last year and we would never have booked to stay there very disapointed"

"Clean and comfortable. Furniture showing signs of wear a little. Outside paintwork on building in need of urgent attention. Very good restaurant. Good size swimming pool but again decking area in need of attention. Abandoned car in car park was there last year!"

"We found the HG Tenerife Sur Apartments very well equipped, extremely clean - the maids serviced the rooms and changed the laundry 5 days out of the 7. The facilities were excellent in particular the pool was very well laid out, with decking and grass area for sun bathing, safe pool for the children, plenty of shady palm trees and excellent friendly staff at the poolside bar. The restaurant served top class food and there was also a snack bar where you could get good food throughout the day. It was in walking distance of all the local ameneties and the bus station was only round the corner. Would definitely recommend these apartments to our friends and we shall be visiting again as soon as we can."
Top Tip:
"The supermarket next door to the HG Christianos apartments sold everything you needed, including excellent take-away food, at very reasonable prices. "The apartment was clean if a little dusty, there was only a small dustpan & brush we would have appreciated a sweeping brush as the maid never quite got under the bed and I don't like walking on other peoples hair/skin ??
We were disapointed that the sunbeds around the pool had no covers on, it made it very unconfortable to sit/lie on.
The restaurant was very good even though we only ate lunch there it was packed every night and the portions looked huge.
The beach was disappointing, small with what looked like a derilict toilet on it and at the otherside of the beach they were busy laying a new promenade, however, for 4 euro's we got a taxi to Playas Las Vistas beach and it was great, plenty sunbeds/restaurants etc.
A walk to the Town Centre each night took about 15 mins plenty of restaurants if
80% were Italian but "Laneres" was great and if you don't want to be pestered by the Looky-Looky men eat inside, food was fabulous and not expensive.
We also took a taxi 5-6 euro's to Parque Santiago III shopping mall , great shops, great dining.

"Nice apartments, which looked as if it had been recently decorated. The kitchen area was on the small side. There was only one electric socket so that if using the kettle or toaster, one had to be unplugged to use the other. The socket was also above the sink which I was not very comfortable about. The cleaning service was very good. The pool area was very good and we always managed to find a sun lounger.
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The apts. are in an excellent location near the bus station and the town. The walk is relatively flat with no steep inclines.
Overall , a very good apt/hotel And I will certainly be returning. I will probably bring a double socket with me."Top Tip:
"There is an excellent restaurant on the main St. to the left of the hotel called the Margarite. the food can either come from the kitchen or from the barbecue. It is excellent quality and well priced. A litre of the very good house wine (€7) is great value. The portions are quite large but, be warned, I once got a row from the proprietor for not eating very much. We have been going to this restaurant for many years now.
There is also a fantastic fish restaurant past the harbour near the tunnel on the way to Las Americas. It is always very busy and we had to book. Well worth the visit. There were 3 of us and we bought the fish by the kilo. had it cooked and brought to the table.
Up from the bus station there is a Neto supermarket which is very well stocked and reasonably priced. Thre is also a larger supermarket (Carolina) on the edge of the town."HG Tenerife Sur Apartments check-in Date:

"October 2007. Tenerife Sur apartment room was really in need of refurbishment. The accommodation that we were in did not have a pleasant outlook at all. Looked out at an area where they stacked loads of mattresses, which were not covered at all. The bathroom ceiling ws peeling off. The shower, continually turned from hot to cold while in use. Also it was a permanent fixture to the wall, so if you wanted to wash yur hair without a shower, it was ridiculously awkward or impossible. Apart from that if the proper towels were not left, they were replaced after reporting it. Food (on half board) was plentiful, but at the end of 10 days became boring. Not sure that the beach was as near as they stipulate.All the staff were extremely pleasant, especially the restaurant staff. Apart from all that, basically it gave us the restful holiday that we were looking for, but dont think I would return specifically to this hotel, possibly because there are so many to choose from."
Top Tip:
