"Excellent location. Hotel very good but would say a good 3 star not a 4. Staff extremely helpful and food varied and good. Dine around excellent idea as it allows you to go ot other hotels and have a meal there at a slight extra charge. Would I go again yes most defintely."

"All people at the hotel are very helpful. However if there is a moan it is that the evening meals could be better for us Brits as they do cater more for the Germans ."

"Only things spoiling hotel where the lack of proper bar, all had to use reception lounge or disco bar in seperate building, and the fact that there was no working heating.
We had to move rooms because 3496 was like a fridge all the time but room 3460 was a lot warmer though no working heating.

"We sent 2 emails to hotel asking for the same room or similar as on a previous visit on arrival we were put in another room without views got moved after 2 nights. Hotel food was not as good as last time, my husband spoke to a manager who took onboard his comments. ON A POSITIVE NOTE THE STAFF AT THIS HOTEL ARE FANTASTIC AND MADE OUR HOLIDAY THIS TIME AND IN MAY 07. THEY ARE FRIENDLY, HAPPY AND A CREDIT TO THE HOTEL. THE RESORT IS VERY PRETTY AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT."

"We love this hotel and have now been there three times. The staff are friendly and the standard of accommodation and food is excellent. El Gouna is a wonderful resort, though a bit quiet if you are into 'clubbing'. Overall I would thoroughly recommend it to you and we have already arranged to go back again"

"Although all inclusive, this, among other hotels offers a 'dine around' facility, so you can eat out in other hotels and restaurants in El Gouna and pay nothing or receive an allowance off your bill. "A great hotel with a fabulous location. Room was large and cleaned every day. Food was plentifull though could have had more variety at times. Desserts were superb! Staff always helpful and polite."

"The hotel was clean and the food was good and the majority of the staff were helpful but would not rate it as a 4 star, more a 3 star.
The hotel beach was on the edge of a building site.
The service in the restaurant was not forthcoming, we often had to be asked to be served.

Hotel Details - The Three Corners Ocean View Hotel
Located in the elegant Abu Tig Marina, Ocean View Hotel is the jewel of El Gouna. The variety of services and relaxing atmosphere offer a prime spot to enjoy your holidays or business trips. El Gouna is a quiet and relaxing resort, nestled between the majestic red mountains of the Eastern Desert and the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea.
Accommodation
All rooms have views on the Red Sea, on the lively Abu Tig Marina or of the gardens and are equipped with air conditioning, Satellite TV, mini-bar, en suite bathroom with shower, safe deposit box and direct dial telephone.
All Inclusive Food & Drinks
The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (12:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-22:00), all buffet style, served in the Ocina main restaurant. During meals all local drinks (except fresh juices) are offered. Snacks such as hot dogs, sandwiches (cheese, smoked beef, etc) and pizza slices (rotating menu) are available between 15:00 & 17:00 at the pool. Coffee & tea time with home made cakes is at the terrace between 16:00 & 17:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks (hot & cold) are served from 10:00-24:00 at the Peanuts bar.
All Inclusive Sports & Entertainment
Leisure facilities at the hotel include animation, water gym, table tennis, volleyball at marina palm beach, darts, as well as live band and shows.
Chargeable Extras
Fresh juices and local champagne are available at a charge.

The hotel offers 24 hour reception, baby cots & chairs, shopping, laundry service, credit cards accepted, a private sea beach, chaises loungers, umbrellas and towels.

The hotel is located 35 km from the international airport of Hurghada (HRG).
Entry Requirements
On entry into Egypt, you must obtain a visitors visa at the port of entry, the fee is £10 (subject to change). Sharm El Sheikh is considered a free zone, due to being located in the Sinai Peninsula. Travel on excursions outside the peninsula, the visitors visa is a requirement. We recommend that you see your Medhotels rep on arrival, and they will assist you with obtaining the visa.
