  • The hotel is only a couple of hundred yards away from the beautiful medina in Agadir for hassle-free shopping from local craftsmen in beautiful architectural surroundings. Or, a 45 minute walk through the woods will bring you to the banks of the river and stunning views across the sands and the flocks of wild birds towards the rolling breakers on the estuary - you'll hardly see a soul all day. If that's too far for you to walk - camels can be hired for the round trip. Definitely worth a visit. from SUSAN

  • I visited a fantastic beach for surfers in tarazout. Only 11km north of Agadir and reached by the no. 60 bus from Agadir, it is well worth a visit. I also went to Marakesh, a mere 4 hour bus ride away and an experience not to be missed, especially when a return ticket only costs around £12 return. from Lynne
