Top Tips from our customers for Beaches & Sights in Albufeira - Algarve

- Superb stretches of mostly unoccupied beaches (end of February) and coastal paths. Fisherman's port, before new marina, is worth investigating. Walking east or west along the coast are fabulous coves, cliffs, beaches, birds diving for fish and quality restaurants.

Stayed at CS Sao Rafael Suite HotelOctober 2006 - I surfed at 4 or 5 beaches but my favourite surfing spot was Gale, which happens to be the closest to the apartment complex (though with surfboard and associated gear in tow i wouldn't advise walking).
The best local bar was virtually opposite my apartment by the roundabout but i cant remember its name. Great for live football, and the staff were most friendly and good company. This bar also had a restaurant but i had already eaten.
