You must visit the Blue Sky resturante! Its just off the main strip, its down a road tothe left of Libertos, follow the signs for Tom and Jerrys and keep going! The food is excellent, it is a family run restuarante and has been there since 1986, the people are friendly there is no rushing people in and out in fact one night we arrived around 8 and finally left just after midnight!! I would recommend a visit to Com Carlos in Albufeira, it a small and very friendly restaurant serving top quality food 27Euro for a 5 course set menu meal can't be bad, be sure to book as you could be disappointed if you get there and their fully booked from Janet

I recommend taking a € 4 taxi ride into Albufeira for a break from the Strip! Straight up from the taxi rank there's a restaurant called the Fishermans Tavern which sells the most amazing seafood at really great prices. We ate there 3 times and I can't recommend it enough. from Ingrid

All the beaches near by are fantastic. There are lots of nice restuarants very close to where we stayed.
