• Things to do in Alvor: You can enjoy watersports at the nearby resorts of Praia de Rocha, Portimao and Praia da Vau. There is also a nature park at Quinta da Rocha. • Alvor is just heaven!! All restaurants were of a high standard. Walk along beautiful beach into Alvor! more Food Top Tips
• Loads of good restaurants available locally. The Sancho Pansa bar is good for good music if you're not into Karaoke. You can choose your own music from a huge selection. The bar owners are also really friendly. Due to limited room around the hotel pool we found a pool which is open to the public along the beach front which is part of the Pestana complex. Huge pool, loads of loungers and a nice sea view. The wind currently made the beach a bit uncomfortable to sit on so this was definitely a good alternative from the hotel pool. more Entertainment Top Tips
