  • LAZYJACKS, small bar in the marina had great live music and company, children in buggies, dogs, young travellers working the season, friendly and real. ACROSS THE MARINA BRIDGE, turn left and after 100m cross the road. You will find a restaurant large enough to feed 500+ diners (inside, only 30 outside) and a queue at the IN door, every lunch and every dinner time. The reason for the queue is the fantastically fresh, local, basic and honest food served, (potatoes all irregular sizes but delicious) (sardines just amazing) at very reasonable cost. Expect your wine in a toothbrush glass and your paper napkins very thin indeed but your meal will be fit for the gods! from Donna

  • We liked the atmosphere in 'dukes' and also very much enjoyed the 'Real Pizza' hut. Most of the restaurants offer a very similar menu. There are a lot of English speaking or English people in all the bars and restaurants, which may not be to everyone's liking. The local beach is ideal for a day of doing nothing. from Lesley
