  • We hired a car and drove up in to the mountain villages which are beautiful. We ate at the village tavernas which were excellent and extremely good value. The Spanish people were so friendly and helpful. from V

  • Fabulous Indian restuarant across the road from hotel. Great Steak restaurant on main road down towards beach, has sign saying best steak in the world and they wern't far wrong. from Jane

  • About 10 minutes walk from the hotel, near the Consum supermarket is a cafe where locals visit (called Biblos??) that does super set lunches daily. For around 9 euros + vat, you get soup, starter, main course, dessert and half a bottle of wine. Excellent. from Sin

  • The WOK chinese restaurant is a must very cheap & as much fresh food as you could each (7 drinks & 4 meals 53euros). Beach 10 min. walk away, pebbly with some sand & play area but very nice. Altea Tuesday market is a most for bargains, catch no. 10 bus @ 1.20 euros. Went to Benidorm, worst choice of the holiday, no beach space, too many people, too many drunks, dirty streets (like a sunny version of blackpool). from DIANE

  • There are many nice restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed the Indian restaurant, one of which was directly opposite the hotel, but our favourite eating place was Pizza and Cia a couple of blocks away. from Janet

  • The walk to the beach is just under a mile, but there were some super bars and restraunts and shops along the way Restraunt - The Hong Kong Chinese - excellent value for money Pub - Difficult to choose a favourite but probably The Three Lions - but you have to look out for it as it is on a side street rather than on the main road from Jonothan

  • There are many good restaurants in Albir on the main High Street there is a fantastic Indian restaurant Called Saritas (not sure of spelling) but there is only one and it is fantastic, there is also two extremely good chinese restaurnts one is opposite the Albir Gardens Apartments and the other is by the Lidl supermarket they are devine and extremely cheap! from David

  • Indian Restaurant top notch. Argentinian Steak House excellent and good value - we went twice but ran out of days or would probably have gone again. Aqualand Waterpark is a must for adrenalin junkies - a full day of fun!! from Michael
