Top Tips from our customers for Food in Roquetas de Mar - Almeria Coast

- M25 bar/restaurant serves great reasonably priced food, jackie, barry and staff always on hand to help. For a slap up meal try flamingoes absolutely gorgeous and won't break the bank. Word of warning, book in advance and don't order a starter as the amount they serve up is really more than enough. Phil does karaoke at y da awakes 1/2 nights a week lovely bloke. And yvonne and dave are lovely people who run the bar. Christine and Dicks is nice place for a meal and drink. For a lively drink and chat try the Miners Arms where Brian the owner will keep you amused and play any music requests.

- The hotel is very centrally situated for all the bars and restaurants. If you like good food take a walk up to the new developments at the roundabout and try Woody's, it has just opened and the tapas during the day are great. It is also good at night if you want something a bit special that is not described with a picture on a board. Christine and Dicks in the same area also does good home cooking, sometimes you just need steakpie and chips.

Stayed at Bellavista Mar HotelJuly 2007 - There are some great bars and restaurants within easy walking distance from the hotel. Head towards the seafront and turn Left and you will find some traditional Tapas bars serving Spanish Tapas along with a beer/ wine for about £1.20. Turn right and head along the seafront for about 10 minutes and you will come across some seafront bars and restaurants serving great sea food. The S Calamari is one I recommend you try for its fresh seafood and great service

Stayed at Neptuno HotelJuly 2006 - We have to admit to going to a local British bar for a traditional roast beef dinner as after a few days we had completely lost our appetite. This is something we have never done before on any foreign holiday ..
