  • We recommend you buy parasols though it was very hot!The isla de Benidorm is well worth a visit, about 20 minutes boat trip away.On arrival you go down in a yellow submarine, and the viewson land of the whole stretches of both beaches are just great. All the eating places we tried, and they were different every night, were all excellent, the staff all really friendly, the food freshly cooked and all reasonably priced. The shops are great in the old town,we have never seen so many shoes and bags!We found a lovely little beach, not as busy as the main ones, just opposite the harbour restaurant, which was cleaned every evening. from sharon

  • The beach isn't too far away and quite easy to walk to and was clean. There are plenty of places on the sea front to get food and drink and the staff understood English quite well. If you are planning on visiting one of the attractions in Benidorm there are plenty of buses running to them. You can also get a boat over to the small island which can be seen from the sea front, but if u don't like water i wouldn't advice going on the submarine, but the view from the island is beautiful. The best place to eat was the Duke of Wellington pub about five minutes walk away. We enjoyed all our meals there which encluded English breakfast and sunday roast, but their was lots of places that did Spanish food if your feeling more adventurous. from J
