  • A great English bar, about 2 minutes walk from the hotel is The Beach Boys. This was my third visit to Calella in 10 years and the owner Brian recognised me/us. Fantastic friendly atmosphere, great prices and good english beer. 'Flatcap Phil' on the karaoke every other night keeps the entertainmemt flowing. During the day, they show good quality new movies on a big screen, with tv's outside and upstairs aswell as the main downstairs area. Plenty of sport on offer to if that's your choice. A wonderful place to visit if you stay in Calella. from S

  • Plenty of local playgrounds to keep kids happy. Beware non-smokers, under the anti-smoking laws, the majority of restaurants and bars do permit smoking but still more than enough to satisfy those who don't want a smoky environment. Not a bad meal found anywhere that we ate in the resort. from Lesley
