Top Tips from our customers for Beaches & Sights in Benalmadena - Costa del Sol

- Would definitely book up with TravelRepublic to go back to the Torrequebrada Hotel. Worth paying that little bit extra for a Superior room and the Junior Suites are excellent. If you dont fancy driving in Spain, don't let that out you off this hotel, there is bus stop in both directions right outside the hotel's palatial front door.(if you can dodge past the two bright red Ferraris. Maybe get the public service bus outward and get a taxi back from either Benalmadena Marina or Fuengirola. Well worth a visit, recommended and extremely good value for money.
Will be going back next year, probably twice!
Thank you TravelRepublic!

Stayed at Torrequebrada HotelAugust 2007 - Definately book a full tour trip to Gibraltar it is seriously worth every Euro which by the way only cost 23.50 euros per person any how. It's only two and half hours from the hotel and you get to see english shops in a spanish climate heaven! the cigarettes and booze is unbelievably cheep shame theres a limit to how much you can bring back though. The Apes are amazing to see freely wondering about I fed one with a croissante from the hotel breakfast buffet which was yummy and the ape agreed. Saint Davids cave is beautiful in all a must see.

- The cable cars up in to the mountain were excellent we went at 8pm and were there till 11.45pm. On Mon Wed Fri during July & Aug they have a planteterium which giant telescopes with an english man guiding you through the skies well worth a visit. You must also go up to the spanish village of Mihas on the bus it cost less that a £1 and was around 50 mins ride once there well worth it for the views. Benalmadena marina is also a pleasant 20 min walk along the promenade.

Stayed at Best Benalmadena HotelJuly 2007 - We took a dolphin trip on a catamaran from the marina. It was fantastic. The restaurants on the second level of the marina are very nice. Do try the sardines that are cooked on open grills shaped as big wooden boats. They are found near cafes all along the marina. The Aqua Park in Fuengirola is good fun for a day out and, apparently, there's another one in Torremolinos. Information leaflets for many local attractions can be found in the hotel reception area.
