  • Estepona town is lovely as is the beach, we particularly enjoyed the market on Wednesday which we went to on the bus which runs very near to the hotel. This bus route also runs the other way in to Marbella. from jack

  • We went to the beaches at Marbella and Puerto Banus and they were very good. We visited the market at Espepona one day and it was very good. If you stay here be prepared to spend a bit of money on taxis to the local towns. Chris Stone from c

  • There are some very pleasant restaurants within walking distance. If you wish to drive or use taxi/local transport Estepona is close with plenty to do. We visited Gibraltar, Marbella, Puerto Banus (Saturday market) and Estepona (Sunday market by the harbour) in our short time there. from Gary

  • 1. Hire a car - then you can go to places like Estepona, Ronda and further afield. 2. Chambao restaurant next door is very good food, but is a bit expensive (€80 for two adults, 1 child). 3. Laguna Village (just before Estepona town on side of N-340). Very exclusive shops, restaurant and beach area. Wow... 4. Best beach for children - Estepona town beach. Parking underground (Paseo de maritimo?) Big play areas for children on sea front. Sandy beach. from David

  • Unless you're into duty free shopping, dont go to Gibraltar. The petrol station near the hotel (3 minute walk) sells many basic neccessities including british newspapers The supersol supermarket just before you get to Puerto Estepona has got everything you need as it is a large supermarket. Apart from sundays when the market is open, Puerto Estepona is very quiet during the day. More of a worthwhile visit in the evening on weekdays. from iskandar

  • Puerto Banus was fantastic, definitely worth going to. Plenty of bars and restaurants here. It's about 15 mins drive from the hotel. We used the Taxis out there and were very good. Cost about 12 to 16 Euros each way for the 4 of us. from Nilesh

  • Forget Marbella, Puerto Banus is the place to go. And if you have a car get to Gibaltar for the Day. It's the same road there as outside the Hotel and once there its very cheap to shop, and so Englishy it's comical. from James
