Top Tips from our customers for Beaches & Sights in Marbella -Costa del Sol

- The beach has excellent facilities in Marbella town - very clean with lots of beds umbrellas etc.
Hard to choose one restaurant - all those we tried, especially along the front and the harbour were very good. Eat where the locals eat is a good tip.

Stayed at Princesa Playa HotelMay 2007 - The beach is only about 5 minutes walk away and everything is so close, Marbella Old Town is literally 2 minutes walk away and it is beautiful, I would definately recommend going there. There are lots of restaurants along the beachfront and they were all very nice and the staff were very friendly. For good nightlife Puerto Banus is only a short taxi ride away from the hotel and costs 10 euros.

Stayed at El Rodeo HotelOctober 2006 - We really liked one of the beach restaurants called 'Restaurant La Paella'. It served excellent fish which was cooked over the fire. Also the service was very friendly. It only opened till about 8pm when we were there in April. Not sure if this is different in high season.

Stayed at San Cristobal HotelApril 2007 - The hotel has one of the best beach clubs at the Costa del Sol. The Sunday lunch is truly an experience not to be missed. We have already recommended the hotel to a few friends and one will contact you shortly for a quote. At the beach club CABANA you can either use the heated swimming pool or the beach which is just 3 yards from the beach club. Approx. 150 yards from that beach is also a good fish Restaurant which has been run by the same spanish family. The sardines must not be missed.

- The beach is only a 5 mins walk and is very beautiful. The only downside is there is no beach bar to get snacks or drinks but you could walk further around, maybe 15 mins to get more ameneties.
