Stayed at Nerja Club HotelJanuary 2006 - Frigiliani - a village just a short bus ride from Nerja - offers plenty of opportunities for walking in the mountains. Not everyone wants to spend every day on the beach.

Stayed at Mediterraneo ApartmentsJanuary 2007 - Burriana beach is a 15 minute downhill walk but is beautiful & well worth visiting.

Stayed at Verano Azul Apts HotelMay 2007 - The beaches in Nerja are far better than the hotel beach which is mainly stones/shingles. Go to the Bourianno beach at the other side of Nerja which also has plenty of shops and restaurants on the beach front. Get there early as there is no parking left from lunchtime onwards.

Stayed at JimesolOctober 2005 - Restuarant Le Teja and Cafe New Orleans are just two restaurants to consider and you will not be disappointed, there is something to suit everyone and do not forget the beach resturants cooking sardines and paella daily.
We also went to the local Donkey Santuary where you can feed the donkeys, dogs and cats that do not have proper homes.

Stayed at Toboso HotelDecember 2006 - The beach at the hotel was not brilliant, but Burriani Beach next to Balcon De Europa was excellent with small rocky coves and selection of water-sports and boat/jet-ski hire. We found an excellent Italian restaurant just off the Balcon De Europa square, in a small cul-de-sac behind the Mediterrano snack bar. Both a 15 minute stroll from the hotel.
