  • The beaches in Nerja are far better than the hotel beach which is mainly stones/shingles. Go to the Bourianno beach at the other side of Nerja which also has plenty of shops and restaurants on the beach front. Get there early as there is no parking left from lunchtime onwards. from Philip

  • Restuarant Le Teja and Cafe New Orleans are just two restaurants to consider and you will not be disappointed, there is something to suit everyone and do not forget the beach resturants cooking sardines and paella daily. We also went to the local Donkey Santuary where you can feed the donkeys, dogs and cats that do not have proper homes. from K

  • The beach at the hotel was not brilliant, but Burriani Beach next to Balcon De Europa was excellent with small rocky coves and selection of water-sports and boat/jet-ski hire. We found an excellent Italian restaurant just off the Balcon De Europa square, in a small cul-de-sac behind the Mediterrano snack bar. Both a 15 minute stroll from the hotel. from Michael
