Top Tips from our customers for Beaches & Sights in San Antonio Bay - Ibiza

- The ferry boat to san antonio town! This was great, it ran from the beach from 10am til nearly 12.30am, this was 2euro per person, well worth it! At sunset it was amazing! One night there was a huge firework display which we were able to watch crossing the bay! There is no taxis in the Bay, it is nearly impossible so would highly recommend this! The beach is also great, you can either sit on the sand or pay 5euro each for a comfy sun lounger, this was very relaxing and you have shops, restaurants etc just at your doorstep! Great Holiday!

Stayed at Sol Bay ApartmentsJuly 2007 - The Sa Flama tapas bar/cafe that is situated on the small beach over the road from the hotel is excellent. During the day the beach is wonderful for quiet sunbathing/relaxing and at night the tapas is beautiful and the location a wonderful spot to watch the sunset. Highly recommended.

- Our favourite beach was Port Des Torrent. You need to catch the hourly ferry from San An harbour (6 euros each for a return ticket) last return journey is 6.30pm.
Brilliant and reasonably cheap BBQ service in the hotel grounds that served food 12pm to 3pm.

Stayed at Intertur Hawaii Ibiza HotelJuly 2007 - I would recommend going to Bora Bora beach to get away from the heat as it is very windy and great for some easy sunbathing.

Stayed at Bellamar HotelApril 2006 - A short walk from the hotel there is a boat taxi that runs every 30 minutes across the bay into San Antonio town. About 100m from the drop off point you can take a glass bottomed boat trip with a company called Nautilus. They do 1, 2 or 3 hour trips and I can highly recommend them! Good fun and great value, only 17 euros for the 3 hour trip which includes "diving for Champagne" on the sea bed. I got 2!!!

Stayed at Azuline Bergantin HotelMay 2007 - Hire and car and travel round the island. There are some fantastic little beaches, far better than the ones of San Antonio, and it is definitley worth making the effort to go and see them!

Stayed at Intertur Hawaii Ibiza HotelOctober 2006 - If miss breakfast great little restaurant Don Juan just over the road from the hotel. Great little cheap supermarket next door to Don Juan for drinks for the kids etc. The best experience was the site seeing train, pick up your tickets at the Egg near the West End. The driver of the train was like Jim Carey I have never laughed so much and my little girl thought it was fantastic, he has so many props in the front of his cab just remember to keep your eyes on him brilliantly funny.

- Tip: there is a bus stop right near the hotel. You can take 3 different buses
from there to nearby beaches - they are much nicer, only 15 mins on the bus.
Try Cala Tarida, Cala Bassa & Cala Comte - all very different. Bus is only 1.35
Euro. You can get a time table from reception. Taxis are expensive so if you make the effort you'll save alot of money.
