Stayed at Hotetur Lanzarote Bay ApartmentsJuly 2006 - the local 'los cacharos 'beach is one of the best on the island, with lovely golden sand. the water is lovely and warm. on windier days the waves can be fairly wild though.

- costa teguise is a great place for bird watching, on the outskirts of town I photographed: little egret, cattle egret, hoopoe, artic tern, whimbril, trumpetors finch. The beech at the hotel is brilliant for snorkling as the fish hide in the protected rocks, hundreds of fish to see and not to far to swim.
