- If you are staying in the Sirocco make an effort to visit the Sands across the road. Brilliant entertainment from family quiz night to cabaret. Also they have a really good supermarket with fresh bread baked several times a day.

- There was an Irish bar across from the hotel called The Snug very friendly and entertainment every night. A small walk down past the beach is a little shopping place with nice bars restaurants and shops. There is a bar there, that we spent nearly every night in called Robinson great night in there.
