Stayed at H10 Timanfaya PalaceApril 2006 - For golf lovers - Hesperia don't advertise it but they do 20% discount vouchers for guests at the island's only 18 hole course (Teguise). Well worth a game and clubs can be hired out there.

Stayed at H10 Bahia Blanca Rock ApartmentsMarch 2006 - My top tip would be there is a glass bottom boat down at Playa Blanca harbour and you just pay at the boat it takes you to a beach called i think Papagayo beach. The boat was very large and loads of room the kids were very welcome and they fed the fish so you could see lots of them. then when it came to the beach and they transport you on a little speed boat which the kids loved it then leaves and comes back every hour and half and you just choose when to go back the beach was wounderful there was nothing there apart from if you climbed the small cliff there was a cafe at the top for drinks. There was litte caves for the children to explore and the fish were just on the shore line and would be great for snorkeling there were people there doing it this was the best trip we went on and would recommend that everyone went on it.

- We really enjoyed shopping at 'Fund Grube', all your top designer names in sunglasses, perfume, clothes etc at very reasonable prices. Shop was extremely inviting, bright and clean with very helpful, non-pushy staff. A great restaurant within the Rubicon Marina is 'Yanni's'....really enjoyed the food and wine.

Stayed at Papagayo Arena HotelFebruary 2007 - A tip is to hire a car from the airport, cost approx £100 for the week, not only does it save on taxi fares to Playa Banca, it gives you a chance to see a bit of the Island. The Island is not large, the roads are good and not busy. Have lunch overloking the sea at El Gofo, a beer and a walk around the lovely marina at Puerto Calero, and Dinner at the Rubicon Marina in Playa Blanca.
