  • Take the trips for something to do, in particular the one to Fuertaventura. We tried a lot of different restaurants but unfortunately most were disappointing, the only one we could recommend is the Polish/Irish one, 'Bodeca', in the old town. from E A

  • Playa Blanca Beach (at the bottom of cardiac hill) is very nice and clean and there are plenty of sunbeds. We found that the 'Old Town' had much nicer places to eat and you can look out over the sea while you eat. The menus are generally the same at most restaurants, but we found the ones around the sea edge to be very nice and reasonably priced. If you fancy something a bit different, Nippon Japanese Restaurant was very nice. from David
