  • The hotel has it's own beach, immediately in front of its extensive gardens, and the beach, public as well, stretches for a good three miles, and is extremely pleasant to walk, easy too. There are a number of good restaurants nearby, but we liked best La Veranda, about a mile away towards Dekhelia. At Dekhelia, the British Sovereign Base there is an excellent fish and chip restaurant -other dishes too, fairly priced and beachside. There is also a good cafe at the same location and there are no restrictions on public access to these establishments. from Ron
