  • There is a shopping mall to explore and the the 'Luz' (Light) football stadium tour which was great! The Veranda restaurant in the hotel is lovely, so u must book it. Ensure that any entrees you don't eat are taken off the bill at the end incl. bread, butter etc at other restaurants as they like to pop this on the table and then expect you to pay for it. Try Nicole restaurant in Rossio square, so lovely and not too expensive. Go to a footie game, the atmosphere is great!! You must head out to the 'Docas' esp if you like seafood, there is an Irish and English pub should u not want to miss out on the footie. If you get bored, walk along the marina in the afternoon...it's gorgeous. Also, there are clubs virtually next to each other, so if you get bored, go to the next one and dont forget to 'smile' and dress up! - Havana and Hawaai...i can't remember which one plays some english, latino and portugese music...you'll love it!! Take the sightseeing tour bus which is about 15 euros for a day.... Taxis are soooo cheap, so we gave a small tip to the drivers which they appreciate! The weather was gorgeous...and learn some words in Portugese, it always comes in handy.....Bom Dia!!! from Sunita
