Loads of bars and restaurants within walking distance as well as the historic centre of the city, lovely parks and the huge Principe Pio shopping centre. Close to the metro. Use Plaza de Espana rather than Principe Pio metro station. from Janet

If looking for a club to go to, go to the sol square, where you will be given many tickets with various offers. we got a bargain one of free entry and drink to palacio garivia, just down the road from the hotel. the best area for a relaxing drink is santa anna also for touring and sight seeing- hop on the madrid vision bus from Rebecca
