  • The Hotel Uyal is ideally situated in the quieter part of the town away from the busy pedestrianised area, but still within walking distance of all Pollensa has to offer. There are a number of small supermarkets within a few minutes' walk. from Elaine

  • The mountain walk which starts just behind the hotel. Note that you have to go through a gate which says just about everything is Forbidden - and has a dog on a long rope at the entrance. - but it is a valid right of way. Also for birdwatchers - Hoopoo's are in the grass in abundence just behind the hotel also. from jacqueline

  • Cala st vicenc is well worth a visit and you can get there on foot, bike or car. The main road is busy so best to avoid that route to the beach. Lots of the hotels on the front have great restaurants so don't be put off by them being attached to a hotel. from Oliver

  • Puerto Pollensa old town on Sunday mornings has a market which is excellent for local produce. Also the climb up the 360 steps to the church was worth the effort as the church and the views were stunning. from Linda
