Top Tips from our customers for Beaches & Sights in Puerto de Alcudia - Majorca

- We hired a car for the day an went to Porte Pollenca, Lluc and Soller. Remarkable experience! The views from the mountain were stunning.
If you like being active then this will be an ideal holiday as cycling is quite a common thing. We hired family bikes, quite cheap, it was great fun cycling as a family along the sea front. Will definately go back and stay at the same resort.

Stayed at Hotetur Club Bellevue ApartmentsApril 2007 - Make sure you go to the beach, it is fantastic. Green like the carribean and you can walk out about 100 metres and the water is only up to your waist. Take the boat from Bellevue which costs 3 euros per person return. It saves you a really long walk and takes you opposite a really nice section of the beach.

Stayed at Hotetur Lagomonte HotelSeptember 2006 - It took 10mins to find the old town (where the market is) and from there you could catch buses all around the island every 15 mins. We hired car for 3 days which gives you freedom to explore up in the mountains. All the resorts around the area are worth a visit.

- The beach is fantastic and is only a five minute walk from the hotel. Local restaurants tend to serve the same sorts of food, we like Don Vito a pasta and pizza restaurant within a 5 min wlak towards the beach, if you want a nicer meal you can take approx a 10 minute walk towards the marina and there you can dine at Las Sirenas (they make a lovely paella).

Stayed at Hotetur Club Bellevue ApartmentsSeptember 2006 - The hydro park near the complex(about 20 min walk) is fantastic and well worth a visit.
Also the old town of Alcudia. You can walk if you are able and it makes a nice different day out, but check that the markets are on or you will be left with not alot to do in the afternoon when they have there siesta.
On the way to the old town there is a beautiful cemetary, it is really different to ours here in England and very tranquil.
If you are missing "home food" you will find a burger king, pizza hut and KFC near to the complex.

- Took a 2 hour boat trip from the beach, which was fun, cost about 32 Euro for two. The beach is nice and clean and you can walk out quite some way so very safe for children.
If you fancy more of a "town" day out, when you get to the beach, turn left and walk all the way along for about 20 mins to the centre where there are lots of shops, pubs, restaurants and the harbour full of very expensive boats!
It is lovely and very picturesque this end of the beach.
Lovely indian restaurant off site, you will see it signposted if you decide to walk down the main street to the beach.
