Top Tips from our customers for Food in Protaras - Cyprus

- Can throughly recommend the Fig Tree Bay Cafe Restaurant in Protaras. Easy free parking, GREAT STAFF, VERY ATTENTIVE, good value for money too. Delightful views of the bay from the dining terrace during the day, and quiet and romantic at night. We kept going back there, and took 6 members of our family there for dinner on one occasion. If you go there for breakfast order the fresh orange juice. My partner said they were the best eggs he'd tasted in a long while. Lovely lovely people. Sorry can't divulge where we found the best beach, just get out there and explore!!

Stayed at Kapetanios Bay HotelMay 2007 - The Red Indian American Diner is a must visit for an excellent steak or american burger. The portions were gigantic, a definate 5 star. Fig Tree Bay is a must visit, beach was beautiful, sea was clear and scenery staggering. For an excellent night out stop for a few drinks in Bells Bar on the main street, they really get the party started.

- Restaurants offer similar menus wherever you go. However, if you can get into Ayia Napa - head for the Clarabel restaurant and try the flambe. It is to die for! And don't miss the idyllc Konnos beach - quieter than Fig Tree Bay and more secluded - well worth a visit.
