Small, typical Andalusian tapas bar. Usually very busy.

Stayed at Monte Carmelo HotelDecember 2006 - There are good cheap cafes in this area that sell cracking bocadillos with lovely serrano ham and cheese for next to nothing, and the cafe con leche everywhere is fabulous. A lot of restaurants were closed over the christmas period and we did find them a bit indifferent really, and sometimes expensive.

- try the Albahaca in the Triana district in town for some of the best tapas - the aubergine dishes especially -and a local atmosphere far removed from the dowdy and expensive tourist traps around the Cathedral.

Stayed at Silken Al-Andalus Palace HotelNovember 2007 - The Bus Station was local to the Hotel and the Guy at the information desk in the Bus Station, fortunately spoke English and was extremely helpful.
We found an Argentinian Steak Bar very close to the Hotel which was excellent.

If you can possibly avoid it, try NOT to fly RyanAir!

- For shere class and quality visit the Giralda restaurante opposit the cathedral - pick a warm day and sit outside - the setting is incomparable and the food great - not cheap but worth it.
