  • Do go to the Marina for a quiet alternative to the beaches. Very good quality restaurants and relaxing places to have a quiet drink. The Marina is more lively at night, with a very good atmosphere. There are so many restaurants, for all tastes along the main stretch of beaches, with choices of bars - from 'look your best', or 'go casual' to choose from. The hotel is central to all the shops and restaurants, and is a stones throw from the beach and local attractions. There are sailing clubs, water sports, a daily night market on the other side of the church. In the main town there are clubs, bars, shops and many restaurants. Infact, something for everyone. As the hotel has balconies, you can come back from a busy day shopping and just sit and watch the world go by, sipping your favourite tipple - very relaxing. Sitges itself if very warm and friendly with something for everyone. Try it, you will return. from Sharon E

  • The roof top bar in the hotel is amazing - and open to the public! Take the lift to the 5th floor and you'll get breathtaking views of Sitges. Plus, the drinks are so much cheaper that the bars in town. Open until 1am, go there for a few before you head into town for a big night out! It'll save you dosh and set the night off to a great start! from RICHARD

  • Sitges is great for shopping - thought I would spend all my time on the beach, but felt the lure of the boutique shops instead! Beach is also nice, and there is a small massage hut on the beach right in front of the hotel who do reasonably prices massages. In the evening, there are some great restaurants just underneath the church, you can drink from plastic coconuts in Ray Ray bar, and dance to cheesy music at Ricky's nightclub (most bars will give you free passes if you ask). from Sophie

  • The restaurant Santa Maria just 30 yards from the hotel had a magnificant menu with the obvious emphasis upon the fish. Unique dishes, extremely well cooked and presented, e.g. a grilled fish platter (E 24.50) with sixteen types of fish whilst designed for one was in fact too much for two. It is big but it does fill up and was clearly the busiest restaurant on the sea front with a high percentage of local residents. On Wednesday the 23rd April they have a St Georges day that is celebrated with pagent and the odd event where by 30 plus tents appear on the promanade offering either single flowers (for the girls) and books (the gift for the boys). It was supplemented by an aerial display of powered hang gliders, a local band playing the Satannas (I think) for local dance groups and a godd time being had by all. from Anthony

  • Barcelona is only half-an-hour away on the train (which is very frequent) and costs only 5 Euro for a return ticket. The firework display for the Fiesta Major is the best I've ever seen, and runs for over half-an-hour. It's also entirely free! from JOHN

  • Location was excellent (in a quiet residential area, 2 blocks from the sea front). Even in April ,on a hot weekend, Sitges was a very popular resort and so it was pleasant to leave the car safely parked and stroll from the hotel along the seafront for 10/15 minutes to the centre of town with numerous excellent bars restaurants and clubs to choose from. For dining try "Fragata" on the seafront near the church or "Buenos Aries" close by on the next beach :Platja de S. Sebastia. Good wine tasting at Torres in Vilafranca. from Elizabeth
