- The local bars had good entertainment in the evenings, lots of sports bars for football etc.
Trips to Mount Teide, The Aquapark and the Zoo are a must.
Plenty to see and do, and would recommend this resort for families and couples

Amanda's show bar is also excellent for nightly entertainment-starts at 9pm with the compare, then the first show at 11pm then the second at 12- great if you're a nightbird.
Slow Boat Chinese Restaurant is excellent-located at the marina by the beach.

- My top tip would definately be the open air Aberdeen Steak House on the hill top overlooking the beach, next to Torviscas Market. Incredably pleasant four peace modern jaz /soul band in the evening. Been to visit it on 3 seperate holidays, love it.

- The Star Bar straight across the street is an excellent nights entertainment of pub quiz and karaoke, El Pescador, beneath the hotel is a great seafood restaurant however the food in the hotel is always of a very high standard.

Stayed at Iberostar Bougan Playa HotelJanuary 2007 - A must is a visit to St. Eugenes, it is a restaurant/bar. There is cabarat every night with at least three acts. The host Mike Carlton is brilliant. He is very funny and has the audience in stitches. Only go if you are broad minded.

Stayed at Tinerfe Garden ApartmentsFebruary 2007 - Opposite the hotel there is a shopping precinct with fantastic designer shops. Above the shops are 6 great - Italian, Indian, Chinese, French - and they overlook the fountain. There is a light show to music at 9, 10 & 11 o'clock every evening.
