  • Ian from Belfast reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "Don't be put off by first impressions - fabric of the hotel may look a little tired but the staff are excellent, the rooms comfortable even though a little redecoration would not go amiss. The entertainment is on only every other night but they go for quality not quantity - the entertainers are excellent. Pool bar snacks are average - a little pricey for what you get, but if you are not happy there are plenty other places within 5 mins walk. Food in restaurant very good at both breakfast and dinner times. Excellent perfectly level promenade runs for about a mile around the 2 bay areas - ideal for elderly / wheelchair customers. We had a range of ages in our party from 22 to 83 and all enjoyed the holiday."

  • Top Tip:

"Plenty of nice restaurants at the marina across the road if you want a change from half board. Or you can walk a little further to the main beach / town area, it's not very far."

  • Terry from Aberystwyth reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "Hotel was very good, clean and tastefully decorated. Only on problem the noise from the room directly next door could here almost very word when the bathroom door was open. The lady next door was a bit loud anyway. Think they need to do something about the sound proofing there. Rooms were made up every day, staff were very pleasant could not do enough for you. The only thing I did not like was when we checked out the receiptionist would not let me have my bar receipts which I thought I should be entitled to only had a computerised sheet with the charges on, I was not very happy about this. Everywhere else we went to eat or drink we were given our receipts so god know why she wanted to keep them. I think this should be looked into."

  • Top Tip:

"Yes there were a number of good restaurants but some were a bit pricy. Could not fault them service was good at every restaurant we went to and the bars were very good. We were here in 2006 and I am sure it was not so expensive then. Mind you everything has gone up such a lot and the Euro exchange rate is not as good as it was back then. This did not stop us from enjoying our holiday "when in Rome"."

  • J from FIFE reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "Hotel was very clean and the staff most welcoming and attentive. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a variety of choice for all tastes. Our room was perfectly adequate - large with plenty storage. However, the construction type of the hotel resulted in noise from adjoining rooms and corridor. This hotel is definitely a favourite with older people and any entertainment provided is aimed at this age group. Overall, however, we were happy with our choice as we had read previous reviews and knew what to expect."

  • Top Tip:

"One advantage of this hotel is that it is directly on the promenade which runs right round the front at Santa Eulalia. Also, there are some restaurants and cafes in the marina area very close by. The town centre is not far at all with the most popular bars and eating places in one pedestrian street. Our most memorable meal, however, was a delicious seafood paella in a beach restaurant 'Brisa del Mar' in Cala Pada on the coastal walk to Punta Arabi (hippy market held there on Wednesdays)."

  • David from Stevenage reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "The staff was very helpful , a meal was put aside for us on arrival at 11pm, due to our flight being delayed at Stansted for appx 2hrs, which we thought was very thoughtful,(the meal that is) and they changed our room next day for something a little larger without any questions, the food, the cleanliness of the rooms was excellent, and all the staff was very friendly, the only down side was the dust from the rear car park which settled on the balconies, and the evening entertainment which we had was good, but not frequent enough we thought, and finally, they opened the restaurant specially for us at 6.45am to have a bite to eat before leaving for home, what more can I say,...... great"

  • Margaret from Derby reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "This was our third visit to this hotel - another break is planned there in October - our repeated visits, as with many other guests, says much about the hotel. Although one of the older hotels in Santa Eulalia, it is well placed on the promenade for restaurants, shops, beaches and of course the Marina which is directly over the road. The staff, without exception, are friendly and attentive - in fact they remembered us from last year! The hotel is clean and well presented and the buffet restaurant offers a good choice of food to suit most palates with little extras such as the local liquors on Saturday, sherry one night and cava (with flowers for ladies & sweets for children) another. When in Santa Eulalia, I am reluctant to stay elsewhere, as I know I will be well looked after at Tres Torres."

  • Top Tip:

"Mangoes Beach Bar - a short walk around headland (past the Sol Ibiza) is an excellent place to while away the hours - day or night - for one drink you can use a sunlounger all day and take a refreshing dip in the sea from their rocks. The food looks pretty OK too although we only sampled Sangria!
The local bus service also gets you around the island cheaply but remember tickets are one way!
The boat trips are also great for a special treat - the day boat to Formentera is always worth it, with the round island tour when you get there taking you to Es Pujols beach, although Illetas & Cala Saona are also worth a visit!
The mini-train trips also help you discover some of the inside of the island. They start in Santa Eulalia & Es Cana.
Cala Pada and Niu Blu beaches are worth a visit - on Cala Pada, the chirunguita 'Las Brisas' has started more evening entertainment. Cala Llenya also worth a visit at sundown as is Chiricana at Cala Martina just outside Es Cana.
Walk up by the river at sundown and meet the feral cat colony living alongside some pretty tame ducks - they like buffet leftovers!"

  • June from Merseyside reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "Booked a last minute break 21.07.08. Was really pleased with hotel, right next to the Harbour. Was not to pleased with the room we were given overlooking the car park but got it changed, no problem at all, to one overlooking the harbour. Fodd excellant, staff very friendly. Only disappointment was , as our flight was not until the early hours and we had to be out of our room at mid day, they wanted 45 euros to keep the room until 6.oopm, which I thought was a bit steep.Never the less we had a great time & would definately recommend this hotel to our friends,"

  • Lyndsey from Redhill reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "We booked the Hotel as it looked nice and the official rating was 4star, however, this hotel was a long was from being the 4 star offering compared with other similarly rated accomodation. There was nothing wrong with the room, although very basic, was cleaned to a reasonable standard daily, but there were small things wrong, the towel rail outside was broken and hanging off the wall, 2 air conditioning units on the balcony meant even if yours was switched off, next doors could be putting out excess heat and noise. The fridge was barely cold, even though you are charged over €20 per week. The staff generally were blunt and offish with those people who did not come back year after year. And again, although there was nothing wrong with the food at breakfast, tinned fruit, cold pancakes, dirty walls and burnt bacon do not add up to a 4star hotel"

  • Top Tip:

"If you are younger than 55 and want to stay in a friendly nice hotel do not pick this one, we looked at the Ses Estaques Hotel, down the round and it was much more modern, friendly and nicer than the tres torres!"

  • "We upgraded to a suite with a marina veiw on the 5th floor well worth the 12 euro per night extra even although the bolcony was a lot smaller than the standard room we had booked which overlooked a carpark and on top of the kitchens.
Hotel staff more than helpful when we asked to be moved. As a smoker I was very disappointed that I could not smoke in the bar at the hotel. This was not mentioned in any of the reviews I had read on this hotel, so for all you fellow smokers be warned. As we were very unlucky with the weather the week we were there, I had to stand in the wind and rain in the evenings."

Well done to the "TRES TORRES"."

  • sheila from nantwich reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "i loved this hotel for several reasons: it has the most enviable hotel view of the marina in Santa Eulalia, the staff are the friendliests i have found in a big hotel, the food is of very good quality, the staff all work so hard and nothing is too much trouble, you can be confident that you will be treated very well and be sure that should there be a problem both inside the hotel or beyond its normal remitt then they will help you resolve difficulties as swiftly as possible, the hotel is 43 years old but it is still charming and far excedes any newer ones in character, cleanliness, hospitality and excellent value for money. The hotel has four star rating which some people say it does not deserve due to it needing updating , lack of entertainment and small pool area. Up to 70% of this hotels business is based upon repeat bookings;so i think they are still offering something that most people want. There are a few moans about the overpriced bar;i paid I.85 euro for one coffee(50 cents) more than in town, however when you realise what location you are in and the lovely view you have when you drinking it,the same cup of coffee in an equivlent hotel in the uk would surely be double if not more?If this hotel was updated i think the character could be lost, the hotel could be too expensive(new five star spar resorts are opening up-i hope this one is not earmarked for this).i say keep it the way it is, loved and unspoilt."

  • Top Tip:

"Two lovely sandy beaches just off the promenade towards the town, suitable for swimming. The is also a small rocky area just behind the hotel Ses Estaques where there is fantastic snorkeling.
Eat out in the small spanish tapas bars, you will get a warm welcome.i like the tapas bar in the marina, the first one you come to when you walk down from the hotel tres torres;typically spanish, frequented by the locals, not over priced and a lovely setting right in front of the yacts."

  • "We arrived at the hotel at 3am to a very friendly memebr of staff, our standard twin room we had booked was not ready however they had up graded us to a grand suite . Although we was only there for 5 nights the staff made sure our change in the morning back to a standard room was as easy as possible.
The breakfast was good with a good choice of foods and always a table free.
The surrounding area of the area of the hotel is amazing and try and get a harbour view . . to die for. Food around the pool is lovely and not too expensive.
The only down side was how early we had to get up to get a sunbed around the pool, the rule is not to reserve, however no one takes any notice of that.
great location, great hotel and well worth a vist . . I well be going back in the near future !!!"

  • Jason from Beckenham reviewed the Tres Torres Hotel

  • "The most friendliest hotel staff we have ever met. They made us feel very welcome. The breakfast selection was very good and we would stay there again. The hotel is in a good location, was clean and the transport arranged by Travel Republic was much better than what would be provided by the tour operators normal drop-offs.

Only downside was that there were too many 'older' English holidaymakers who were laying towels on sunbeds at 4.30am and by 9am not one sunbed was free. By 10.30am only half a dozen beds would be occupied with the rest 'reserved' by the older people whilst they done their sightseeing. It was unfair on the other people and the hotel staff were powerless as these selfish people were blatantly ignoring the signs put up by the hotel. Perhaps if the hotel charged to hire the sunbeds then the older people wouldn't be too quick to get up before the crack of dawn. Thank God the beach was close by."

  • Top Tip:

"Get the boat into Ibiza Town rather than the bus even though it is more expensive. The bus drops you off about 25 mins walk away from the Old Town and is not in the most prettiest of locations."

On ariving at the hotel we opted to pay a supplement for a larger room/suite and were not disappointed. Rooms kept spotlessly clean. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. A good and varied choice of food in the restaurant catering for all tastes. Only downside was the availability of sunbeds which were 'booked' very early in the morning but rarely occupied until the afternoon (by the British)."

Hotel Details - Tres Torres Hotel

Official Rating - 4*- Bed & Breakfast / Half Board

Tres Torres is a charming hotel located on the sea port at the town of Sta Eularia Des Riu in Ibiza. In this island, the third largest in size of the Balearic islands, peace is everywhere, in every cove, village or sea port.

Accomomodation

The hotel consists of comfortable rooms and luxurious suites. All the rooms are equipped with a direct telephone, television, hairdryer, air conditioned, minibar (with charge), bath, shower, balcony or terrace. The surroundings also determine the design and the interior decoration. From the room, guests will breathe the calmness of the island.

Food & Beverage

There is a main restaurant, which offers wide variety and good taste. Fish, salads, meat, fruits, good wine and a great selection of deserts are offered by the buffet. One of the hotel’s best suggestions is to enjoy a meal on the hotel terrace, where guests can savour a very nice atmosphere. There is also a snack bar for light meals and a bar where our guests can have a drink with pleasant and friendly services.

Sports & Leisure

Even though Ibiza is a small island the leisure offer is huge. It is an island that allows its visitors to be in touch with nature, sailing under the sun in one of the beaches or coves, going on excursions, scuba-diving, and a long list of leisure, sports and cultural activities. Its crystalline waters with more than 200 km of coastline and its bluest skies make Ibiza a delightful place to enjoy the following activities: diving, parasailing, waterskiing, canoeing, windsurfing and bike cycling. 100 meters from hotel you can have a great variety of massages in the wellness centre Estar. For those who do not want to abandon their shelter in the hotel there is a swimming pool where they can relax under an umbrella or sunbathing.

Facilities & Services

Inside the hotel there is the Jewellers Pele Torres, with a large selection of a well known designer. More than just a souvenir from the island, it can offer to guests a real treasure. In the art room can always be found a travelling exhibition of Balearic art works. The hall will always welcome guests with warm light and soft architectonic lines, typical of this Mediterranean island.
