"The Tutotel is very good quality for a 3* hotel.
The staff are polite and helpful and speak decen English.
There is a good range for breakfast with a chef on hand to make you an omelet of your choice while you watch and wait.
The domestic staff are friendl and do a good job and always leave an amaizing origami made out of towels on your bed!!
The pool is small, is quite cold and the area could do with a new lick of paint and flooring but it offers amaizing panoramic views of Luxor and the Nile. Very special at sunset! Also because it is 7 floors up you are away from the noise of the traffic. The disco is one of the best in Luxor and is famous throughout the town.
I have stayed in the Tutotel twice now and would deffinately go again."

"Hotel was clean and nice enough and sheets were changed every other day and towels every day. Buffet was not very good and only one meat mainly chicken was on offer. I am vegetarian and often had to eat out as there was nothing suitable. One evening there was no buffet and guests were given a set meal which was mixed grill again not suitable for me but it looked like it had been kept hot for a week and my husband left most of it. Staff were not very helpful either. All in all hotel let down by the food otherwise it was ok."

"Location was great. Rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. Both our rooms had views over the Nile and West Bank. Only problem was with water temperature in shower - either too hot or too cold. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. There was a chef making omlettes to order and there was also Egyptian beans, cheeses, tomatoes and bread/toast to choose from but the coffee and tea were a bit disappointing and I would have loved a nice strong cup of filter coffee!
There was a lovely roof terrace with magnificent views all over Luxor both city and the Nile. The swimming pool was not heated which would be OK in the warmer months but it was too chilly in January!
The reception staff were very efficient and helpful and I felt confident using the hotel safe deposit to store extra money and passports.
Hotel decoration and furniture was a bit past its best but quite acceptable.
Most of the other guests were moaning on about everything in the hotel but personally, I thought it was good value for money."
