  • "the beach was too far away. And we had noise from people down below and opposite apt but spoke to reception and next night was okay apart from that was okay."

  • "We had a wonderful relaxing time at the accommodation, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very pretty and peaceful and the beach was 10 mins away with free shuttle to and from during the day.

    I would recommend this place and will certainly return"

  • "Stayed just one night in April 09 - very good out of season value. Quiet location, down side road. Twin bedded studio with well equipped kitchenette and big bathroom, considering the tariff. Nice big balcony overlooking the pool. Pleasant friendly staff and gardens well kept."

    "For a long walk along the sand backed by high cliffs, Falesia Beach is only a 5 minute drive away. You can walk to at least 6 restaurants and 2 supermarkets all on the main road in about 10 minutes. Use their own website at www.valedecaross.com and print off the map and instructions to make it easier to find the apartments."

  • "Hotel very basic but clean a great location for families on a tight budget. Evening entertainment didn't start til 9.30pm which was a bit late for us as we have two young children. The bar staff were friendly the receptionists were not !! A real get away from it all place no loud music and no reps forcing you to do stuff you really don't want to do. Very enjoyable but do not expect anything luxurious,"

    "Get to the AQUASHOW water park it is great fun for everybody and as we went in spetember we went on evry ride again and again as it was not busy at all. Top entertainment and only 15 minutes away."

  • "The hotel was clean, basic but comfortable. But the staff made the holiday. They were so friendly, helpful and always had a smile for you. It felt like being with a big family. The food was great. I'm missing the breakfasts already. I would certainly recommend booking through the travel republic website. They were excellent !!!!"

  • "Vale de Carros is pretty difficult to find. Make sure you have an accurate map with you. Rooms are pretty basic but clean. Its' rural location means be prepared for dogs barking all night and to be awoken by the lcoal cockerels!"

    "Make sure you have your own transport to access the many beautiful beaches relatively close by as well as the restaurants and night life avaolable in Albufeira and beyond."

Apartment Details - Vale De Carros Apartments

Official Rating - 3* - Self Catering

An attractive complex typical Portuguese style, with apartments rustically decorated and being an excellent choice for families and sports enthusiasts due to the proximity to a range of sporting facilities. The beach of Falésia is 2,5Km away and at 600mts distance is the centre of Acoteias with its handful of bars and restaurants.

Accommodation

All the studios are located on the first floor (access via stairs) and they are equipped with living area with TV, two sofa beds plus third bed, small kitchen area with fridge, bath or shower room and balcony. All the apartments are mainly located on the ground floor and are equipped with separate twin bedroom, full bathroom and terrace. Appliances such as toasters, electric kettles, DVD / video players, hair dryers, radios and ventilating fans are available at the reception at a charge.

Food & Beverage

The bar serves breakfast from 9:00 to 12:00 and light meals from 12:00 to 17:00. Occasional entertainement available in the evening at the bar.

Sports & Leisure

The complex comprises of a main swimming pool, a bottom pool, children pool, tennis court (at a charge), football, games, kids club and competitions.

Facilities & Services

Facilities and services include telephone, fax, internet, money exchange, courtesy bus to Falesia beach twice a day (except Sundays and bank holidays), bicycle hire and wireless internet at bar & reception areas (available at charge).
